Great picture and at a first glance it looked like my F12 in Grigio Ferro with the black calipers as well. After looking at the second picture the color looks different and I doubt it is GF.
Today the weather was fabulous so I went for a walk in the Champs-Elysees area. I saw a beautiful Grigio ferro F12 , like yours, performing a nasty acceleration on Montaigne Avenue... I've already seen some F12's in Paris but driving slowly or parked For the first time I clearly heard the sound... Woow.. must be such a pleasure to drive ! I also saw a Canna di fucile 458 Spider , well what I believe to be Canna di Fucile... I spend enough time on this forum to be almost sure. In a tenth of a second my brain told me "CdF" when the spider accelerated on the Grande Armée avenue It was a great day...
Olivier because Avenue Montaigne is in Paris and boasts numerous stores of the most famous and prestigious high fashion brands, I can't think of many better places where you can show a Ferrari in great style. What we would expect was for this Ferrari owner to drive very, very slowly through the avenue in order that all the stores clientele was able to contemplate the beauty of the F12 lines enjoying, simultaneously, the great sound of it's V12. That nasty street acceleration with an F12 is IMO a very rude act, frightens most people and is no doubt the less appealing manner of anyone saying "here I am".
I have only had the chance to compare Ferro with a 2013 458 in dullish light. The 458 looked very slightly darker but I was the only person at the dealer who noticed until I pointed it out and then the staff agreed there was a subtle difference. It would have been interesting to compare in sunlight but we are in the U.K!
Yes Grant. I went to Auto Italia at Brooklands and went with the convoy from Ferrari Colchester. 160 miles round trip in the F12 so lots of flies on mine too!
Yes absolutely, usually they drive slow, but the avenue was empty so the dude probably thought he could act like that..there are a lot of clowns like this in the champs elysees area, usually they are young people and the cars don't belong to them
The 458 Spider and the F12 were too fast for me to grab my phone, I saw a few others exotics, but this area is well covered by lots of spotters so I can find far better pictures on autogespot I took a few shots some months ago, especially a 550 Barchetta and a 575 SA parked near each other, and a Grigio scuro F12 in the same parking lot.
But ah!, the pleasure of looking at your own spots ... Last week I was in London for family holidays and a little carspotting too, why not. Absolutely no F12 (let alone tdf), 812... it was a bit of a let down. Even the only Lusso I saw there was a T, I was hoping for more V12s. Then back home last weekend I saw a local V12 Lusso which is an ultra rare spot around here.
Correct. It is amazing how different it appears depending on light conditions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
