Use a more viscous liquid or it will be shaking around too much, maybe maple syrup I have an old 12 cyl unit I use
Very simple. You connect each bottle suction tube to an engine inlet side. The vacuum in each bank will pull on the liquid and thus you can calibrate/balance both sides to equal vacuum = equal liquid level as both bottles are connected via a tube ( communicating vessels )
Received my tube pillars today. In the next day's going to test the synchronisation. If there is an unbalance, should it be adjusted by the linkage screw ( you see on the right side) or the both the air screws ? For the moment my idle is very good so i don't expect any issues. Make sure the plenum butterfly is closed / sealed between the 2 banks or it will mess up your readings
Patrick, where did you find the metric brass fittings? Probably won’t help those of us in the States, but who knows. Let us know how the balancing goes.

As far as i found out the linkage screw serves more for the mechanical throttle valve synchronisation and the air screws for the air volume synchronisation.
Thanks for the fitting source. You don’t need to disable the valve between the plenums— it doesn’t actuate until way up in the rev range. But I think the 90 degree fitting on the rear of the left plenum provides vacuum to it and the air injection system so you could just plug that fitting. I think what Tim was suggesting is to ensure that the valve itself is sealing correctly so that there is no leakage between the two plenums when the valve is closed. Hopefully he’ll weigh in with more.
Forgot to mention Clog those air breather to the headers when you tune it. I eliminated them on mine they do nothing but cause vacuum leaks
Tested my stooge syncro tool today. Complete failure !! It seems the engine draws a lot more vacuum then a motorcycle. The bottles where squashed in a few seconds. The engine has burned some wiper liquid to ( lol ) but no problem. Back to the drawing board i think. Good point : the fittings work fine and my 3D printed tube blockers also.
