    The point you were trying to gain traction with was over GT2RS being quote "spanked" by 720. Laughable. Keep dreaming.

    Not true at all. I would love to have a GT2RS but going for the Pista instead. You are so blinded you only hear and see what you want vs what is really there. I can appreciate all of these awesome machines not just a particular brand. Big difference between some of us.

    You are far too emotional.... Calling others blinded and attaching other claims of hatred against your beloved car is clearly an attempt to kick up dust - create a diversion to remove attention from your earlier spruikings. With 720 and gt2rs best keep to the facts and, try to keep it real.:)
    GT2 has less power, more weight and sets the ring benchmark - doesn't need to be the dragstrip queen to do that either.

    God knows how you will react if Pista out tracks your beloved 720 mindful it shares better accel numbers.

    LOL. I see you didn't bother to look into it more.

    The NR time is a factory backed run with professionals and a giant support team. The car probably wasn't even the stock set up. You can rest assured the tune the hell out of the suspension etc for this car. So you're comparing a factory effort with a unspecified car to a magazine lap with a standard press car.

    The Sachsenring lap they posted was on Cup2 R tires. These things are borderline slicks. They apparently have the stopping distance of a semi truck in the cold. In fact, the time on the regular Cup2 tires that the car actually comes with is massively slower to the tune of nearly 2s on a short lap. The time on standard Cup2 is 1.28,56. So really, it's probably not any quicker than a 720S when you consider the 720S was on standard Corsas.

    Yeah yeah, the GT2 RS wasn't having a bad day at Hockenheim, it just didn't have a factory driver/team and slicks LOL

    Gotta love the excuses. Especially coming from a guy who doesn't own a car, and prefers one that is electric and self driving. That's truly beautiful. :rolleyes:

    Are you mad that you bought the slowest exotic in its class or something? If I wanted your 488, I'd go buy one lol. Here's the thing though -- I don't. I don't buy old cars that are practically out of production.

    And that's the funny thing: I don't even care about tracking or racing, it's just common sense if you actually follow the exotic car world.

    Tires have made probably 90% of the difference in the latest cars. OK, the 720S does have a **** ton of power, but it's also on new rubber just like Porsche. I'd really like to see a 675 LT with the latest rubber.

    People are practically cumming in their pants when Porsche posts a lap time, but then they don't even realize that a .1 GT3/RS with the latest rubber of the new cars isn't even much different. The GT3 RS didn't gain 20s on the NR from a small power bump and a face lift, it was wearing super sticky rubber that you can also just put on the old car.

    Manufacturers are playing the people quite well by just making their cars look massively faster by using new tires that have the same name. They're all great cars that are more than capable enough on any real world road, but the lap times are just turning into tire competitions.

    Goes both ways Joe. Some are more biased than others. At the end of the day everyone is free to buy and enjoy what they like and no need to discount something else. I think the responses that you/we see are a reaction to silly comments by certain people. The 488, the 720 and the other cars referenced are all awesome although some (they know who they are) dont care to admit it.

    What's to hate? The car showed up like 4+ years ago. It came and it has nearly gone. Some people are hooked on a car for ages, some aren't. I personally never liked the front end, but so be it.

    If you like it still, great. It was atop the food chain for a bit and now it's not, just like every car.

    Definitely a good trade, especially if he got the Spyder. No contest between a Cali T and a Huracan IMO in terms of "exotic" appeal.

The attempt to diminish these so called "now impressive results" in a bid to place one's present car of choice up on a pedestal is proof positive of that. It has nothing to do with brand or the preferred love for ones brand. As previously suggested - best try to keep your emotions in check (if that is possible) and keep it real because you sound like a sore toe over GT2's accomplishments. Again, a solo win by one second on one solitary track does not mean a great deal particularly when you look at the clear time differences set on other tracks by GT2 against the same car. If a few here knew so much about track and racing as they so claim perhaps they should be knocking on the door of Redbull for a seat in their car instead of spending so much time masturbating so profusely on a chat forum.

    Any photos he may claims to have put up previously could have only come from a magazine. He is what one could only refer to as the ultimate bench racer.
    Noone1 has made enough claims here to clearly show he has zero interest in Ferrari yet devotes his entire life posting here against the brand. If you read some of his quotes it would make your head spin. He never ceases to amaze.
