^ I thought the same (in pics). Once I checked them out in videos, I was more favorably impressed...T
It's great to see all these excellent pictures. Every Portofino so far seems to have ribbed inserts inside dull silver exhaust tips. I had assumed this indicated the Sport Exhaust Pipes, EXA3. Has anybody seen a Portofino without these tips? Would like to see what the standard tips look like, is the outer finish the same? The configurator doesn't clarify this very well.

I will be replacing the stock cans with polished stainless pipes like Capristo. All stock choices look unappealing.
The more I look at it, the more I think the problem is that the bumper is naked. If you painted it body color I think it rounds out the shape nicely. Seeing vids of the car in motion show that the bumper is more contoured and proportional than it looks in some photos. Hopefully someone will opt for this so we can see what it looks like. Why Ferrari did this is beyond me. I get that naked rear splitters are a thing in the car world, the C7 has an ugly plastic looking splitter. But if you've seen a pic of that car with that section painted it looks miles better. Naked... Image Unavailable, Please Login Body color... Image Unavailable, Please Login To my eye, anyway, it makes a world of difference in unifying the body shape into a cohesive form.
I can think of three ways of painting the bumper cover: 1) paint it all 2) paint it down to the lip where the parking sensors are 3) paint all except the inverted U area in the lower middle. There is a common way of painting part of the rear bumper cover on the 599 Fiorino that looks great to me. How about somebody with the computer skills showing different ways of painting the rear of the Portofino?
While we're making edits, there's one other thing I'd change: that running board. I love the pinch at the waist where the doors meet the rear quarter. I think it's gorgeous. Why did they ruin the line by putting a kick plate under it that's shaped like a 2x4? Those will have to be removed, and a custom contoured running board installed, assuming there's no chassis architecture in the way. Having seen pics of the frame, all of it seems to be inside the body contours, so this should be a go. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Interesting that the beautiful Portofinos at Boardwalk and South Bay appear to be 2018 Euro models brought in for display, not saleable USA-spec 2019's
Aren't new Ferrari models released in Europe first? If so, I'd guess that these were early built European models shipped here for demo purposes. Could explain why there was no map Nav info loaded on the Porto that I drove. T
