Neither does the steering wheel, obvious repaint with mismatched interior, untidy engine bay full of incorrect hoses, yep this is a well looked after car. Perfect for Gumtree
I have NO eye for detail but even I could see there are TOO many things wrong with the car for it to be "immaculate" I think it's $30k of repairs away from a $40k car
Well, if anyone knows a ****box, I guess it’s you [emoji12] The seller is clueless describing the car as immaculate and if you think it is, well....
Greg, you are correct BTW the car was last advertised in May 2016, located in NSW. Its a UK car with a "C" vin. The car was originally silver. Unreg in NSW from 2003 until 2016. Ad from carsales May 2016: "45K This was a project that I started but needs the right 'genuine sort of person' who can finish the job. The car is UNLICENSED... It is a classic, I had a new clutch and pressure plate fitted and the belts were done but it might be prudent to redo the belts as the car has been in storage for some years... but it goes well. This is an opportunity to get into a real FERRARI at a low price. I would like to sell because I now mostly live overseas....... Please by the same token no time wasters or tyre kickers. Reasonable offers considered... HERE IS YOUR CHANCE !!! THANKS....... Oh ! the other point is that this is the first model Mondial when Paninfarina returned to Ferrari after the Bertone designs and is NOT the quattrovalve..." Oh and in May 2016 it had the original wheels fitted, my guess is someone balked at the price of TRX's and fitted aftermarket wheels instead
Not at all,all i said was that it read well......and another extremely well read bloke on here agreed. Until Mike chimed in no one was any wiser....including yourself.
Nope, it was obvious from the pics that the ad didn’t read well, was inaccurate and full of BS. By the way PP is clueless
That’s the issue with finding a good Mondial, they’ve been mostly owned by cheapskates that get in over their head. Pretty obvious that is the case with the “immaculate” car. Some idiot will buy it and continue to **** it
;Scuse me,the first advert I posted, prior to it being listed on GT.was on Just Cars....about 4/5 days later.
Just Cars? Fkn lol, same same. Advertising on both those sites = trying to sell the Ferrari dream to clueless first timers that can’t afford the maintenance
Put another way, the type of person that would attempt to sell a a Ferrari on Gumtree is also the type of person that would buy one there. If it was a good car, there is no way a half smart person would attempt to sell it on Gumtree .
lol @ blueblood Unlike yourself that went to a top private school, I went to a public school. I’ve worked hard and continue to do so for everything I have. No hand me downs , NTTIAWWT Simple fact is Ferraris are expensive to buy and maintain and not everyone can afford it. That car is a turd that has been polished and the target audience is dreamers flicking through a magazine at the local barber. Whoever buys it is in for a world of pain And by the way, I spend all day in the “dark side” [emoji12] Image Unavailable, Please Login
