I don't know 375+ , I think in England... But I notice that Ireland, wants really to have a private discussion with Bandini...
250 GT Boano in Italy, 1957. Picture taken by Wojciech Plewinski, one of the most significant Polish photographers of the postwar period. Can anyone help me identify the car? There used to be Boano & Ellena registry online, made by F-Chatter "djaffrey" but it's no longer available: http://web.me.com/djaffrey/Boano/Home.html Image Unavailable, Please Login
I just love this thread! Thank you so much to all the learned folk, photographers and collectors who contribute.
I am shocked that we have a picture with no answers given. I expected a chassis number, make and model of the cycle and possibly his name and what he had for lunch. Standards are slipping guys
I was not expecting such detailed answer, but maybe there is somebody on this forum, who recognizes the car or place, where this picture were taken. I realize it is a long shot, but you never know.

Yes, it is 1964, but there was no disagreement between Bandini and Ireland - both had retired at the pits, but when Hailwood's car dropped lots of oil at the last corner a few laps from the end and the corner workers did nothing, they both went to remonstrate and try to get flags shown and cement put down. It looks like like the worker was not responsive.... Does anyone wish to know chassis numbers involved? Paul M
