I'm not sure what you're getting at. Clearly we are criticizing Ferrari for not doing better. Why is that "wrong"?
I don't know why they so hurt, this isn't really a high speed track, Ferrari is in no way troubled for points, it's a long season and more high speed tracks to come, which the Ferrari have had higher trap speeds so far
Ferrari additional pit stop for Vettel was a report that the rear tyres had issues. https://www.reddit.com/r/formula1/comments/8j4e4o/vet_had_to_come_in_apparently_as_he_had_an_issue/
Indeed we wish for that. The better calls on the pit wall would of meant Seb would of had more of the lead coming to Spain he would of had 2 more wins at least before Spain if better managment were done. These lost of points are not great for the team at all.
Ferrari is screwed. They don't have the mental acuity or stamina to stage a real fight all season long. They have done nothing to rectify the personnel issues that sunk them last year. They will not win a WDC or WCC this year unless someone kidnaps Lewham for the next 6 months.
Yes. HAAS can lay claim to "Best Of The Rest" if that gains you anything. If Ferrari doesn't pick up Leclerc for next season, perhaps HAAS would do well to jettison Grosjean and lay claim to this promising young guy.
Both Vettel and Ham couldn't catch the tool today in better cars, Ricc ended 20 sec. behing Max. Good race Max, the wait is for a WC winning car.
It seems like the pit stops were the tyres were not working for the Ferrari so yeah not a great for them at all.
Such agony watching Ferrari these last weeks. To be fair, this does not look like a team that can win a championship this year, unfortunately. It is not even close to the level of precision from the Schumacher-Brawn-Todt era. Between VET and HAM, the 5th championship is on its way to HAM. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
At this point I am beginning to believe that part of Mercedes strategy is to let Ferrari do well the first few races and just when's Ferrari is feeling confident they go for the jugular and cripplle the teams psychology. That's what's happened the last how many seasons ????
Unfortunately correct, as I stated after the last race. Only more incorrect and reactionary race strategies to come.....
No. They just let Ferrari be Ferrari. Ferrari have been choking for TEN years when the going gets tough. Remember the Massa fuel hose incident? They still are unable to make the correct calls when they need to.
AND... the team DID NOT go into "meltdown mode" after a temporary setback. All of this is management-related, not driver-related.
Yeah I guess it amounts to the same. It's amazing. So I guess what we have seen in the opening races of the season is dumb luck.
You cannot throw away that many points and expect to win a championship. Five races.in and three of them with points thrown away, two of which could have been wins and one of those which definitely should have been.
The tire thing really is the story to me. They have the best (or at least tied with Red Bull) tire management / endurance and then, when the tires are changed for this race at Mercedes "suggestion," all the sudden they cannot manage any of the tires? That must mean Ferrari's "updates" totally screwed the car. Or.....it is pure ******** from the FIA, Pirelli, and Mercedes (who suddenly and magically make their tires work). I'm going with the latter, but those wishing to fellate Lewis and Mercedes can go with the former.
The Sandbagging / Trolling from Mercedes to the other Teams. They HAVE to do it in order to quell the rumours of having a monopoly on Formula One racing.
