Yep, jenson beat him quite a lot too in the same car........ wouldn’t have done that if he was against Alonso, Schumacher, Senna, or any other proper great driver.

Elton will be in the list with greats purely based on the results borne out of the car, not because he is anything overly special, you know it, we know it, and most annoying for elton himself, he well knows it, hence his overcompensating with his feminine dress sense and whiny style

 

Im not asking anyone to care, I'm just asking everyone to use facts.

 

So basically you want me to believe you know more about Hamilton than what Button knows about Hamilton? And you want me to believe your assessment on Hamilton more than Ross Brawn, who was team principal for him once? That would be the height of ignorance.

Here’s a fact, elton got beat by jenson as regularly as he beat jenson.... hardly the sign of a great

Another one, he got his ass handed to him by Nico Rosberg, oh, and barely beat him the other two championship years, requiring the strong bias of the management there to thwart Nico....... again, hardly the work of a great champion

"There was an early hiccup in preparations for the race however, when the reigning champion, Lewis Hamilton, criticised F1 for failing to consult drivers on the layout for the Miami circuit. “You have not got any of the top racing drivers in history having ever designed a race track, and I don’t get it,” he told reporters on Thursday, before Miami’s commissioners made their announcement. “Not that any of us are designers, but they haven’t asked for our input. “Miami is a super-cool place and I was very excited to hear about it, but when I saw the layout I was like, meh. Vettel is imploding. Hamilton is the GOAT! Vettel is too mentally weak to come back from a deficit.

 

Lewis passed another Michael Schumacher record today, earning points in 30 races in a row? Not as impressive as when Lewis beat Schumacher record of 68 poles (what is Lewis up to now? 74). As long as we all understand the facts, we can enjoy the irony of this sore losers thread about how bad Lewis is based on the history of F1.

I stand corrected on the brand but Yes, Ferrari had bespoke tires while the rest of the field were forced to use tires that weren't spec to their car
