EVEN THEN....driving a Porsche requires a technique that the driver may not have. In other words, they're both too fast, but it's hard to work out by how much lol

Well, perhaps "hater" was too strong of a word. I admire their cars, but my allegiance lies with Ferrari.
I would question the sanity of someone who describes themselves as a Mclaren " hater" unless of course they or their loved ones have been attacked or harmed by a Mclaren.

Whoever can afford a Macca and can't send his children to Uni is an individualist, at best! Our publicly funded Unis are not that expensive anyway. I paid relatively little money for both my Bachelor's and Master's. The cost of partying and drinking though... don't ask...
There is no pot or kettle. The problem here is very simple and verrrry easy to see - no brain surgeon or rocket science required to identify the tragic insecurity from a small group of 720 owners, owners who have chosen to enter the Ferrari fray here at Ferrarichat (instead of their Mac forum) seeking for an undivided approval from ALL Ferrari owners that their choice (720) is the ultimate over the 488, or any Ferrari for that matter. Faced with Ferrari owners opinions why they prefer their Ferrari over the 720, said Mac group set off upon a hate campaign of anger against those Ferrari owners who have questioned the look, resale value, lack of visceral feel etc of their beloved 720. I mean that's just not on right? Yep. Nothing new here I'm afraid. But hey guess what Mr Gh21631? There is such thing as a Mac Forum where affirmation is virtually guaranteed for you guys. Or is it another case where you have done that over there and became faced with strong conjecture over which is the better choice out of the 650, 720 or 675LT ? It's like he doesn't realize that this thread is 720 vs 488. It's truly bizarre that he keeps telling people with McLaren experience to leave the forum even though this is exactly where McLaren users should be on this forum, given the topic. I mean, it's not like all these message are posted in the general 488 thread or a "Just took delivery of my 488" thread. It's a very specific thread. Does he even realize that Fchat has a McLaren sub-forum too? Hell, this thread could very well have existed in that sub-forum instead and he'd have literally no point to what he's saying. It's merely that the OP posted it in the 488 section instead of the McLaren section. Maybe he doesn't understand how this whole forum/message board thing works...

Thanks for the support Ash Patel but these two are reluctant to own up to their trolling and have become rather hostile and offensive from being exposed. I suspect they are butt hurt with their car not having the same brand recognition as Ferrari or something like that - which may stem from too much showboating around and no one paying them any notice, although that situation wouldn't apply to noone1 who doesn't even own a car! Talk about ridiculous! Gh21631 thinks because he's been here longer has some special right to troll around the place and behave as badly as he likes toward newer members. Anyway all I can say is thank god the Mac guys I roll with don't behave like these fellas. Sheesh - Bad form - very bad form indeed. Gh21631 - 80% of his posts are rational and even edifying. However, if his buttons get pushed, he is predisposed to lashing out and hurling personal insults. There really is no justification for animus and invective to creep into these discussions. I enjoy being exposed to differing points of view and therefore appreciate opinions expressed on diverse models and manufacturers regardless of which forum they are posted. The purpose of these forums should be for the enjoyment of reading and participating in expanding knowledge about the cars we so love. I would suggest we shift our discussions to further that purpose.
