My wife loves driving it. Calls it her car.

Agreed. Id take it over R8 for same or slightly more.

Only way to know is to try. I had no reference point. But glad im good.

I'm usually not a fan of "matte" finishes, but this one shows quite well.

Lots of driving time over the weekend. Amazing car. Blistering acceleration at any speed. Luxury also. Love it.

I like the front but the rear looks wierd? The NSX is a good car for the $140,000 price but at sticker with options at $200,000 not a chance.

The Ferrari 458 is freaking gorgeous I love mine and in the end your either driving a Ferrari or a Honda.

Just my opinion that is worth nothing.

I had a 1996 NSX-T and loved it, sold it because it wasn’t fast enough. Doesn’t sound like that’s an issue for this new version.

Enjoy the car it is cool!

As someone who has both, for the same price I’d take a 458. Objectively, the NSX is the better car. It’s also over $100k less than I paid for my 458 which makes it a no brainer. It’s also quicker I have no doubt. Staring at a horse on the steering wheel is still special to me.

Thread needs a bump. Have been driving mine every chance I get! What a great experience. Especially when filling up lots of conversation. Men, women... people come up and chat about it.

Drive over the weekend, back roads and enjoying the sunny day. Decided to top off the tank and caught up to a few Harley’s. Guy in back did a few checks to see what was following him. Ended up following them to a gas station and pulled into the pump next to them. He came right over... said it was awesome that we pulled in behind them. Had a good chat about the NSX and the Harley’s. Nice bikes, tons of chrome.

In front of us was a pickup and the wife/girlfriend asked if she could take it for a drive... then said beautiful car!

I never got this from my Ferrari. People figured I was unapproachable? I bought the NSX for me and what it is, but love sharing and talking about it with others. Every time I fill up someone comes over to talk. Fun times.

Glad you are enjoying the NSX! But good and not so good things about being approachable. IMO

Not so sure I want to have a conservation everytime I put gas in my Ferrari? You get a lot of the usual questions - How much does it cost? How fast will it go?, How fast have you driven it?, It’s not as fast as ??? (you add the vehicle), Its way overpriced, (if you were silly enough to say how much it cost).

Good points and I agree. Shields go up when someone approaches. So far easy questions and positive reactions. All have been adults so good interactions, all appreciative so far. And with a small gas tank fueling is quick!

Well fortunately or unfortunately my Fcar has a big tank since the mpg is not good, so I have long stops refueling. I have to use the slowest fueling notch to avoid getting air in the tank and not being able to completely fill the tank. So if I run into those questioning folks in make for an uncomfortable fueling session.

The NSX tank is like 12 gallons or something and I get about 16 mpg so fill ups are frequent by quick lol. I get the same mpg in my Camaro ZL1 that has a 6.4L supercharged v8. Turbos certainly aren’t efficient if you drive them properly.

I'll add that I've had the same pleasant experiences with my NSX. At car shows I get a ton of questions and compliments. The car drives fantastic and is everything I expected. All of the 0-60 and 1/4mi numbers don't mean a thing to me. The electric motors provide initial acceleration that is incredible. Being able to drive at low speeds in traffic with the hybrid system is enjoyable. I always like pulling into a parking lots making no noise. Get's even more pointing and stares lol.

Car is unbelievable. I paid 100k less than a mclaren 570s or huracan (cdn funds). Not sure you could justify the difference.

Its so damn quick too. Yet to try launch mode.

    Exceptionally DD friendly.

At a discount this car is an absolute steal

Why does that matter? The nsx is a great car..always has been. In fact it has been a much better car then anything ferrari has produced. Put a ferrari badge on it..would that make you feel better?

I’m sure your NSX is a nice car, but a Ferrari is something that demands a certain soul and temperament to own. I’ve never owned a Japanese car, never will. I buy Italian shoes, not Chinese made shoes. I buy Italian suits, not suits from Malaysia. I have a Natuzzi sofa, not an Asian made brand. Asian brands may be just as good but I don’t want them.
Buy what you like. But comparing a Jap car to an Italian car is like comparing a Seiko Watch to a Panerai. The seiko Watch is fine ...but you get my drift by now, no?

Think you're probably missing out on many things. Soul and temperament with owing a car does not have to be demanding for a stunning experience. I have owned Ferraris too and I am not defined by a brand or label. They're cars, buy it, enjoy it, move on... there will always be something faster, better looking, or more expensive. The NSX ticked more boxes than a comparable Ferrari or McLaren and now I'm really enjoying it. Happy times! Enjoy your sofa.
