When i have a chance i will post the photos of my recent Lambo visit, the PROPER Italian owned old one, not the garbage current vw job. Sadly the day i visited Tonino Lambo decided he did not want to come to work?, more reason to return in 2019, HIGHLY recommended
OK Ill own up I didn't take this picture, but I did see this car in 69 when it came to Australia for the motor show, in 69 this and a Miura. just stunning and the silver leather, as only a lambo could. The car has been restored and will be doing its first public events since then. https://www.autoclassics.com/posts/news/lamborghini-marzal-driven-monaco-historic?utm_source=autoclassics-newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=05092018&utm_term=image Image Unavailable, Please Login
There is a US show about turning cars into gold fish tanks, this would look good with two guys driving it in scuba gear with fish swimming around!
Makes a flat very expensive, now he will have to wait a week for a tyre and the car looks odd on the trailer, I wonder if it has a nose lift.
Yep, will be here till at least Wednesday or Thursday. Overnight a tyre from Brisbane doesn't actually mean overnight in Mount Isa. My tow truck mate talked to the owner last night, he is driving the car from Darwin to Sydney to give it to his son. His son owns two Lambo's already, this will be his 3rd. He didn't ask which other two models his son owns. Now, I love a good mission. Don't get me wrong. But driving 5000 km in that car through the outback is just nuts. He is lucky it happened just outside of town here and not right in the middle of outback QLD as he would be paying a fortune for the tow truck to 'somewhere', waiting at least a week for some new rear tyres and he would be eaten alive by the flies lol. It's a shame no one looked at the rear tyres before he embarked on his adventure to Sydney as both rear tyres are trashed. And yes, it looks like that Lambo has the front hydraulic lift kit in it. I just saw the car parked at the motel before, the front is sitting flat again.
You mean the tyres were trash BEFORE he left Darwin? Pretty hard to find anyone in Darwin who would even recognise a Lambo, I think...
