It used to be contact your dealer with your car vin number,Pay your money in advance totally NON REFUNDABLE. ask me how I know ( new pipes to a faulty fuel pump) Dr's word not enough. But eh Ferrari have gotta pay for Kimi somehow.
I went in 2001, Sep 11 would you believe. The dealer organised it once I gave them the VIN. It was free back then. I was in a small group of 6, mostly Americans. Awesome experience, then went and had lunch across the road at the restaurant Enzo used to frequent. I haven’t aged a bit [emoji15] Image Unavailable, Please Login
I was there in '89, no Ferrari but I got in thanks to a lovely Italian girl who was the guide for some Americans No cameras inside but the girl and I giggled all the time (I hardly understood a word she was saying ) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
There is no such thing as a tourist tour. You need to be an owner to do the factory tour. You will need to book it through your dealer, if they don't know you as a client you'll need to prove you own a Ferrari. The tour is pretty good, no pictures allowed though, can be hard to get availabilty, depends on the time of year. If you are visiting Maranello there are other car places to see in the region so allow a few days and make it worthwhile
We saw a 575....did you?? no? Didn't think so...i knew THEN they were rubbish. I also rocked up in '89 and got a personal tour by the Marketing chief. All i had to say was "i'm here for an F40"
I was having a coffee just outside the factory with some old Italian codgers on the day I went in '89 and we were sitting on the footpath very close to the road when you could hear a siren going off, some yellow lights twirling and the traffic lights at the factory gate change as a Ferrari test driver in an F40 came barreling out of the gates, turned sharp right and flew off into the distance barely missing us as we drank !!! The old codgers just laughed at me and shouted "Bella bella" as this lunatic raced off into the distance I'm sure they must set the speed limit to 300 for these nutters ............ in TOWN !!!!
You need to ask? “Don’t worry about that Boxer I just rolled, my F40 arrives next week” Olio Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
funnily enough, my cousin is a check captain with an airline who operates both and he says the same thing...
It's the same car that was in the last museum auction.....It sold on the day but in reality it didn't. ..........
I did the factory tour in 2014. Organised by the dealer for myself and a friend. She was pretty excited! Lol. Apart from us there were five others. We really enjoyed it. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I’d also add re the tour that although photos “aren’t allowed” there are some places where you may be able to take a snap or two. I’ve posted pictures before of the private F1 car area (which for me was the highlight). I asked the lovely guide if I could take a picture or two and she said as long as no people were in it she’d look the other way. Certainly inside the factory though it would be a no-no.
No. Not yet. I’ve been too busy to put much time into trying to find one yet, but it staggers me how something so simple manages to be so difficult.
I know these things are sent to try us.... Heading up to Pierre's today to pickup the 360.......Major service with new belts bearings , engine mounts, and a major problem with the brakes, which has been sorted with a new brake booster and master cylinder.....Can't wait to drive it as I only did 7kms in the HOS last year.....
err order online from the link I pm'd you ? You don't honestly think a Ferrari mechanic in Australia is going to a: have a new one lying around, b: bother to research the availabilty of a part online to save you money c: order it in and NOT gouge you on the price. M
