Thanks buddy for your kind words !! I have a team that help me prepare for Concorso events so I certainly can't take all the credit for myself. Having said that I think I will retire the car from officially entering shows for a few years to let others have a crack at the top spot. I'm going to be assisting the judges in Concorso this year so I'm going to put my keen eye to work reviewing others cars, rather then my own.
Thanks Rossocorsa1. Always stayed in Australia. It is an Australian delivered car so other then its initial voyage from Italy 29 years ago, it's always stayed here but has been shown in other states.
This angle of the 308 is my favorite. What a lovely and purposeful design. Image Unavailable, Please Login

USA model with cat, isn't it? (learned this from Rosey...) exceltent pictures and great car, thanks for sharing ciao Image Unavailable, Please Login
It's an US car; when these received the cats, they also received the 328 engine lid, which has longer extraction louvres for extracting the additional hot air in the engine compartment. Rgds
No... Indeed the US cars and the swiss car both have cats, but they aren't on the same spec: - the engine variant is different: the US cars having the "X" engine (260hp); the swiss cars the "C" engine (255hp, the Bosch KE-3 jet - only variant of the 328 family to have it) and the gearing ratio is different. - externally, the swiss cars have the "short lip" nose, like the euros (= Non cats); the small round indicator repetitors behind the front wheels and the small "euro" rear view mirrors. - whereas the US cars have the "long lip" nose, the large rectangular position lights on each fender and the US "Falg" mirrors. Alberto... This is not always working: there is a variant of the 328 that has the hot air exctraction slot in the rear bumper, but has NO CATALYSATOR despite this... The Middle-East one. Rgds
