Toto is always downplaying. Come Saturday and they battle for Q3 I will bite.

That's what Toto is saying. So it's undeniably the truth...

On paper one would probably think it's a Red Bull track with Ferrari on par or ever so slightly behind and then Mercedes. Hopefully Ferrari pulls it off, Hamilton screws up his Q1 lap and then a yellow flag shuts down his final run (albeit it was in Q2 last year). Would love to see Kimi get pole again this year and then pull off the win.

Red Bull appear to have the most suspension travel and downforce from what I've superficially seen. IMO it will be their race to lose. Mercedes appear to be building a long track car these days, unlike W03 which was practically made for Monaco. Ferrari have a fantastic but finicky car, same as Mercedes. I think in the end it will be a matter of who is quicker what weekend, and we can never quite tell who that will be. I love this season so far.

Even though Monaco can be a procession, we've had some interesting things the last few years to spice it up. Wehrlein ending up against the barrier sideways, Max into the walls, Ricciardo pitting and the tires weren't there, Hamilton pitting and losing, the Ferrari Seb-Kimi pits last year, Rosberg pulling a Schumacher during qualifying to impede HAM. Hey, for everyone that says they won't watch it, it's still the glamorous part of F1 that makes Monaco interesting.

I'm for the fastest driver in the fastest car winning. To win by someone else crashing, or bad pit stops isn't winning, its getting lucky. That isn't an auto race, that's a lottery. And boring. Now if a car breaks because of an engineering flaw, that is fine...that is part of the contest. Same with rain scrambling the mix. But hoping for your guy to win with less than dominating performance is rather...sad.

If Toto is already making the "we're in trouble" statements.. it means they probably have their car sorted out just fine.

A).... ******** Toto, this is to make the thick people think it’s really a race, and not a forgone conclusion
B).... Just get Pirelli to change the tyres, and if that doesn’t work, just ask the FIA to rule ferrari and red bull aren’t allowed to use their steering wheels for the weekend, I’m sure they’ll oblige, they usually do

The way many of the drivers have been crashing it might be carnage along the harbor. Very little discipline shown so far and this track absolutely requires it. It should be fun to watch as long as nobody gets hurt.

    C) Ask Romain to perform one of his legendary "pirouettes" to take out both Ferraris, Red Bulls, Renaults, Force Indias,... but in such a manner that both Loulou Kardashian and Bottles can escape unscathed (whilst avoiding all debris with their tailor-made Pirellis!).

Here all along I thought it was a conspiracy theory, but with evidence like this I might have to adjust my thinking.

The only thing Toto is worried about is getting taken out by Max/Grosjean etc

Busy safety car day. The safety car and Charlie might determine the winner again LOL :)
