Wishing Everybody a Happy Easter. The next part of the show is a particular personal favorite, the Iran Die cast Model Club. We launched this club not only to celebrate this hobby, but also as a way to invest in the next generation. Over 300 models were on display and their display was a huge hit. Awesome ! We (meaning my dad) had that Range Rover in exactly that colour - the only other colour I saw was the dark green. And our friends had the Cadillac, which at the time was less expensive than the equivalent US Caprice Classics. In 1977, that Cadillac was around 275k Tomans ! Great pics, and thanks for the memories. Best, Sammy
There existed a 2-door cream RR with black horizontal stripe around the middle of the car ......has to still be somewhere unless it was scrapped.....had oversized carbs as well....
Wouldn't be surprised if it's still around somewhere given the condition of the cars on this thread ....then again... lol. Best, Sammy
Hi, There were a number of RR colors, but this color and the green were the most popular. I have a 76 which is grey white. The Seville was cheaper because it was locally assembled and received better tariff rates and customs duties as a result. It was a big success for Pars Khodro to secure the right to produce the Seville. I thought you would enjoy this side by side picture and the advertisement for the Seville Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Best regards, Ramin
