Great conversion Randy! Did you do the suspension upgrades? The ECU, the ti springs, pair of dampers and rear anti rollbar, not to mention the specific bushes/mounts (engine, gearbox) and suspension as well as specific ride height and geometry. This is the equivalent of the HGTE handling upgrade for the 360 and transforms how the car drives... I remember going through all of this years ago myself although at the time you could buy an ENTIRE crashed CS for around 30K GBP and part it out. This was roughly the same price as a accident damaged Modena! This was before anyone really understood the CS in the used market and the differences it had. They just believed it was a 360... I should have bought them all and stored them!!!
360Trev maybe you think you are the only one that knows about CS cars ? wright ? YES I have the rear shocks and four titanium springs and the under trays and anti Roll Bar .. I can take the any Challenge test you have !! I bet you my car is more complete than yours !!!
Your reply comes across a little aggressive which I'm sure was not the intention. I certainly wasn't trying to attack the integrity of your conversion, more reporting that the chassis upgrades had the most significant impact on cars handling than anything else ever did, weight loss included. Ofcourse I don't claim to be the only one with CS knowledge as for many years I've posted considerably and in great detail on the subject. I also didn't simply do a CS conversion, my car is considerably less weight than a CS and a lot quicker too as I incorporated a lot of Challenge race car upgrades (way beyond CS spec) in my conversion. Its part of the reason why my car still weighs considerably less than your published kerb weight despite still having electric windows rather than side lexan windows. Again, just stating fact not trying to start anything. On the extensiveness of conversion front, suffice to say, there isn't a part I don't know about though since I originally took the Ferrari MODIS parts system SQL dump and did a full differential between the CS and the 360 so I had pretty much every single part number that differed available for comparison and actually owned 2 crash chassis cars at one point. I also did this with the challenge cars too.

Trev it would be incredibly useful to be able to access your differential list . Do you have a link to view it ?
What is up with the cs having a bigger oil tank on top of the transmission? Is there a benefit for the upgrade. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Good luck on the RH panel (with the F1 tank) if you need that one...when I ordered mine about a year ago, I was told by two sources I got the last one on the shelf in Maranello….
Gotta love the way typed words can come across with emotion....been on both sides of that fence many, many times. Trev360 and Randy6005, both of you have outstanding cars and what each of you have done with them is inspiring, and it just goes to show people that you can make these your own while still keeping with the original design and spirit of Ferrari. Great job!
