Pedro who are these folk you refer to that hate Ferrari ?...besides even if that was the case, I'd like to think that folk that post in the F1 section are passionate about F1 racing, and one would imagine most if not all post there opinions regardless of team affiliation or nationality, afterall it is world wide sport.

The forum group is F1. Not F1 Ferrari. And just because one might think it's silly to denigrate Hamilton, knowing full well his amazing list of accomplishments, that doesn't mean one is anti-Ferrari.

Look, whenever you see a thread title such as "worst driver" or "so-and-so sucks", you know it's going to be highly opinionated. Fine. Just don't get personal with the other F-chatters if one happens to disagree with the topic at hand.

There are limits to what we call sporting banter and daytona355 has persistently overstepped the line despite repeated advice about tone and a recent stern warning to modify his tact - this was not out of the blue and he rejected numerous opportunities to avoid it.

This is FerrariChat and it is hardly surprising that the majority of our members are fans of Scuderia Ferrari in F1. However, as has been reiterated many times before, this is a general F1 subforum and being a Tifoso/Tifosa is not a requirement to join in the discussion. You may not take it upon yourself to define this as a Tifosi only area and attempts to drive off other fans with mean-spirited interactions will be dealt with in the manner you've just seen. This notion that people should be able to say and do whatever they want on here because they are Tifosi should be well and truly debunked by now - you cannot hide behind the colors of a great team to excuse your own lack of discipline and decorum when you post.

If you want to be more selective about who you talk to, I suggest you start an F1 season thread in the Silver Subscribed or Rossa Subscribed private subforums. If you want to continue using the F1 subforum and simply cannot abide fans of other drivers or other marques, then I once again suggest you make good use of the ignore feature - it is much more effective in XenForo than it was in vBulletin.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

I already do Andrew, the ignore function is sopmething i have learnt that works wonders, still, i am not blind and i (and everyone else knows) that (non ferrari suporters) don't come here because they think that ferrarichat f1 section is the best f.1 section in the world, they don't come here because this is were they think they will learn more about f1 (they could if they were remotly interested in it), no, they come here because they know the vast majority are Ferrari fans discussing f.1, and so it's a nice place to make trouble and piss everyone else. AS you well pointed, we dont have to listen to them, we can always use the ignore button (wich i do), still this doesn't change my opinion on such posters, that their only objective is to create problems inside a Ferrari forum, nothing else.
Ps: Andrew, the main reason i am here is because i LIKE the people that post here, i like what they post, they are funny, inteligent and knowledgeable persons (most of them at least), to leave would be to let the ones who come here with the sole purpose of disrupting this place win. I'm not prepared to do so, unless all the other get banned....

I totally disagree. I'm a Mclaren fan, only come to fchat for the F1 subforum and it's because the knowledge here is amazing. The Ferrari slant is quite clear but of course that's going to be here so I don't let that bother me, usually it cracks me up.

I originally voted for Grosjean but after today's race I changed it to Stroll. If I am correct, Leclerc's brakes failed and that is what causes his collision. I'm happy to see the Alfa Romeo name back in F1, even if in name only at this point.

Yep total brake failure...Just before it happened Hartley's team even told him that Leclerc has a problem so be careful....and then the brakes totally failed. Unlucky.
Stroll was beyond useless. Nearly a second down in qualifying, crashed twice in the race. Special.

I’m glad my faith in Stroll was restored today. He was totally dominant from start to finish as the worst driver on the grid.

Could he go on to become the worst F1 driver of all time? It’s a tough challenge, and only time will tell, but he shows great promise.

I originally voted for Sirotkin and have changed it to Stroll. I realize that the Williams is hopeless but IMO he has no business driving in F1. He can have a successful career as a journeyman driver in a lesser series.

I’m sure Stroll is a bigger talent than sirotkin will ever be but wants it the easy way.

furoni, I love you, you speak the truth but it is all in vein, moderating the trolls here is a joke

I hate posting here, always getting canned for innocent posts or pointing out the trolls who then report your post to get you banned (and now Sid is in the timeout corner)

I love the information from a lot of the regulars like Bas, JoeG, Peter Singhof and the guy who puts up those incredible technical drawings, man it's like the old days before the internet when we just had newsgroups and I use to talk to the McLaren tech staff about the current F1 situations as there was no Ferrari newsgroup

Now all we get is ****s logging into a Ferrari website to stir the pot and see how many tifosi they can get banned

Make me a mod for a day and they would be toast ............ I use to be one but electricity was only on the horizon back then :p

As for the worst driver .... has to be Grosean, crashes all on his own and ruined the Scuderia's chances of winning

I can't believe Hartley is on the list and Magnussen isn't

Can we put a petition together to be sent to the FIA to have Stroll out of F1? God the kid is pathetic. He is now the worst F1 driver ever.

In Monaco Stroll behaved as if the race and everyone else were there to serve him in his expensive hobby fully paid by his father. He is a spoiled kid that has no respect for the team members! Someone needs to slap him on the face!

Williams, if they are at all concerned with survival and saving what is left of a racing historical reputation need to fire the Stroll virus and move on. Recommend they do it in Canada lol :)

I don't really see it that way. I think there's just as much, if not more, Ferrari fans baiting anyone who dares to challenge them, despite the less than sterling record of championships for Ferrari over the past what, ten years?

Yes, we're a Ferrari site, but we're also a CAR site, and an F1 site, and a very soft porn site, and a watch site, etc. Do we limit the conversation in watches to Ferrari watches? After all, there are plenty of those to discuss, why even talk about Rolex, or Vacheron, or Patek?

Suppose we only talked about Ferrari here. Remove ANY reference to any other manufacturer in the F1 section. Wadda ya get? Squat. To win in F2 you have to have competitors, and those competitors are integral to any conversation about F1 and Ferrari. Want to be passionate about Ferrari? Go for it, but others can be equally passionate about other makes. I love Ferrari, but I'm not blind to the fact that they haven't won a championship in ten years. TEN YEARS.

So lighten up. If you think you're being trolled by someone, hit the report button. I'll take a look, and I'll be even handed, as is Andrew and the rest of the moderation team here. Except for P&R, this is without question, the toughest section to moderate because any action taken will leave 50% of the folks unsatisfied.

Without Max Verstappen name on this list given his performance this year the list is incomplete.

earlier in the thread I said Grosjean, purely because of a man with his experience he shouldn't be making the mistakes he still does, and not understand the brakes after 3.5 seasons....but yesterday I locked my vote in. Stroll.

That would be great, but where would they be without Stroll's money? Sirotkin as their #1 driver, but what sponsors will they have to fund the team? Perhaps they can survive as a Mercedes junior team?
