By the way christian, do you have any idea when they will release the 250P? or the 315s?...i'm still on the fence over this last one, it's one of my favourite Ferraris, and the model looks nice, but some mistakes are annoying, like the wrong interior!

    I don´t have a glass sphere, so I can't tell you
315 Sport is limited to 500 on grey base and 200 on brown leather base, 200 are still unsold
maybe we have to wait until all are sold, maybe BBR changes the limitation or has some sympathy for us
    250 P is limited to 4000 !
if he puts the decals in Italy on the cars It might go faster

Ok, now I understand, and agree. Thanks for clarifying. These mistakes always happen whenever a model manufacturer does not do enough proper research.

I used to be a BBR fan back in the early 1990's, but not after seeing what they did with all of their editions as well as a many "behind the scenes" methods of conducting business. I know that the owners at BBR have been in the model car business for a long a long time, and so have I (I've been in the the specialty model business full time since 1982). I am sorry, but I do not agree at all with you about the 'ethics' of both owners. They are lacking.

the early 90´s was the time where BBR built his best quality
I began collecting in 1987 and changed to 1/43 hand built in 1992
I know a lot about "behind the scenes"
RGM is a close friend, he also gets information and pictures from real cars from me

That rain version is a fascinating model. I can understand why it's a favorite. Hil has had some great cars.

What's the story behind a rain version?

It will be interesting to see how this compares with Exoto, for which it was one of their earlier releases.

Okay, which is the preferred 512S Coda Lunga in this scale: CMR or Tecnomodel?

I have a CMR 512S and have seen the Tecnomodel. IMHO they are comparable in quality so to me the Tecnomodel is not worth double the price of a CMR.

Thank you for that. And what is also important is that right now the CMR models are more available.

I have the tecnomodel and i think it's a bit better but as Peter said not worth double the price, also now they are rare and expensive, the cmr is a nice alternative...

CMR also makes two body versions of the Coda Lunga (differtent noses). Don't know about Tecnomodel.

The #5 car at Le Mans had the earlier nose with side strakes, and I believe that most manufacturers modeled this correctly.
