Put this in rumor category (which I personally find hard to believe)- more than one person on a McLaren site claims this thing will outperform a 675LT. If true, that is ludicrous.

Someone told me it was a 720 spinoff. However stealth pics are a 570 variant...

That would be odd considering both the spyshots and the released teasers are of a 570 based body. I suppose they could've used a detuned version of the new 4.0l in the both the Senna and 720S for this version as apposed to using the old 3.8

    It’s a 570 variant. 720S performance (LOL) variant is 18-24 months away.

its awesome but I would just take a spider instead, enjoy the extra street comfort and never miss the added track ability.

211.6# further down in press release. Not sure if bullet point is a typo?

It shoots flames.... the 6 year old in me thinks that is awesome.

As someone who goes to the track a lot this car is really interesting,
I wonder if the 95Kg quote is with the MSO CF roof and Senna seats or the standard LT.
Will the senna seats be available in the USA, will this car be able to be fittted with 6 point belts?
Also wonder what the downforce is at 100mph and 150 mph which are more relevant than downforce at max speed.
