I didn't write any noted on Vivino, but one of the views sparked a vague recollection that I had with this Rioja. It mentioned uncorking it and letting it breathe for a while before drinking...T

Man, I wish they had poutine @ McD's here. I have watched a few YouTube videos of street food in Asia and elsewhere. Some of the stuff they have at Mickey D's in India is pretty tasty looking. Stuff that I am more likely to eat than what they have here.

Tonight...zoodles! Got two huge zucchini @ a farmers market in the microscopic town of Mountain Springs. Zoodled it up. Chucked it into a hot skillet with EVOO. Salt, pepper, garlic powder, crushed red pepper. Little tomato paste to help sop up the liquid released when you cook zoodles. Top with a little parmesan cheese, and a dollop of ricotta.

Since it's a bit cool today. Mid 80s, I figured that was a good reason to break out one of our Italian reds.

My bro in law is in international banking, and has visited Mumbai several times. I wonder if he'll bring me back a Veggie Pizza McPuff or a Chicken Maharaja Mac!

It was actually even better on day # 2 after opening. I think a little extra breathing perhaps? Now I just need to remember where the heck we bought it!

Edit - bless you Google! Bought it at Goody Goody in Dallas. [emoji848] I feel a road trip coming on! [emoji2]

I just made a simple iceberg lettuce salad last night...... Didn't feel like opening another Kirkland pesto sauce. Think I'll do pesto linguine and chicken tonight.

    Ooh, ooh. I knew! I knew! [emoji4]
Watermelon seeds, or pepitas, are quite popular in Mexican cuisine. If course, before moving to Texas, I would have never known that. They're great roasted with some spices...T

Had a big lunch at the wife's favorite Indian restaurant, so it's a light dinner of chef salad. Dressing is a homemade strawberry balsamic vinaigrette.

I had a big lunch too. So just downed a simple salad........ Heading into Vancouver tomorrow, so lots of calories for lunch. Decided against opening the pesto again.

I bought some hamburger yesterday to make homemade big macs. But since its a big package, I'm making soft beef tacos for tonight. Unless my parents want to stop for dinner on the way back from Vancouver. I have a vegetable greenhouse operation about a mile from my house. They sell veggies in their roadside stand. Its like farm fresh. So I got tomatoes, some various peppers, etc....... A cucumber for salads.

Thanks Tom. I do want to improve on making seasoned or candied nuts, so I may try that. I did a couple batches with carrot soups but haven't got it just right, yet.
