Dreamin,, They are renowned for being the most reliable Ferrari ever made,no worries about running rich,fouling plugs,changing points.. Also look at asking prices of all the 3x8 series,,328's are advertised at the highest price next to Fibreglass cars,, You had one and you found it boring,,that doesn't equate to the whole of the Ferrari owning population.. Yes that's right spot the 328 owner..
It was Simon who said it....I just happen to agree! 1. 308 glass 2. 308QV 3. 328 4. 308 steel carb 5. 308 2 valve injected I'm not sure about the order of 3 and 4 though.
I drove back,in convoy,from Brisbane to FNQ with a bloke in a 328 and me in a lovely restored 1976 Alfetta GT (with the original 1800cc engine). Either he couldn't drive (I suspect that was part of it) or when I floored the GT in overtaking I was on a par in performance due to power to weight being better in the GT.
