Total nonsense,,l spend more time in the 308/328 section and thete are more owners of 308’s having all those issues l mentioned than those that have 328’s.. If carby cars were so good why did you convert and modernize your car? In my 9 years of owning my 328 the only problem l ever had which l asked advice for was attributed to faulty/old 30 yr old ignition wires, other than that my car has not given me any problems whatsoever,,oh the tyres l had when l bought the car although having decent tread we’re giving me steering issues,but new tyres fixed that.. lve never had any plug fouling,running rich or overheating.. l would never go back to thenadod days of owning a carby car,which l had prior to the 328..
You’re the dumb one,,you have modernized your car from engine mods to suspension,,and you have spent a pretty penny on doing that, spent a fortune on rebuilding the GT4 that you had after boasting how you could buy one for cheap but then had to spend alot of money on it to bring it up to scratch,,actually between the gt4,328gtb and vetro that you have,the 328(boring car) that you had probably gave you the most financial return,,even though it was a uk import.. anyway no point arguing with you..

The 328 was the best of breed ............. the end , because it was an evolution of the QV which fixed all the problems of the original 308 Then the 348 was poo poo'd for being slower than an NSX but the balance was restored with the 355 just before the ugly 360 turned up replaced by the slightly less ugly 430 until the unloved 458 came along There , have I upset enough people now ???
Sorry I've hit a nerve (not really). My GT4 ran on carbies and never fouled the plugs or overheated. In fact, I took Pap on a drive up through the hills and into the city on a 40 degree day and not a beat was missed. The best thing to do if you don't know what you're talking about is STFU. A poorly maintained 328 will also foul plugs, run like crap AND overheat. A well maintained 308/328 won't have any issues...carby or injected. With respect to my GT4, you ignoramus, there was no better GT4 around at any price. I STILL haven't seen one with a body that was as good. They ALL had much worse issues than mine. Most people wouldn't have bothered or wanted to do what I did to that car. I didn't HAVE to, I wanted to. I enjoy doing that stuff. So get your knickers out of a knot and your head out of your backside and stick to the facts. As for my 308GTB, it is much better than it was standard.....but guess what??? It's much better than your standard 328 too, so that's another ridiculous argument. Have you encountered the difference MoTec makes to a 328? It'd blow your mind. My engine bay looks standard AND I still get an identical inlet noise...something no standard 328 has ever had. I remember once that my GT4 was in storage for a few months and I had the 355 and 328 at home. One day, I decided I'd better go pick up the GT4 and take it for a spin thinking "oh god...this will be rubbish"....much to my surprise, however, I kept the GT4 at home and couldn't flog the 328 fast enough. Why do you like your 328 better than your old GT4? I can only think of one reason. Your GT4 was crap and didn't run right. A 328 is just an old school car trying to be modern, and failing. The end.

Not always....You sold the Dino, F40 , 355CH etc which was wrong.....They were always like good wine....They were only going to get better with age......
