No, Toni Franco's legendary place for full-scale cars https://petrolicious.com/articles/the-incredible-workshops-of-maranello-s-master-craftsmen
I think you mean 1121002, anyway, it's excellent news that the SW gauges for this car still exist, if they were in my possession I would do whatever I can to see that they made their way back to the current owner of 1121002
Won't be long before someone comes up with a variation of any number of venting devices used in motorsports for cockpit venting, a NACA-themed item might be appropriate Image Unavailable, Please Login
yes, i think there is one model store in Maranello but not this Toni, this is a old shop specialized in Ferraris and yes....in maranello 99% is focused on Ferraris
Emilio, I am always thankful for Maranello and it's red cars as Ferrari is essentially the reason why Lamborghini exists. Also, I personally find in the present day that owning a Ferrari Supercar or two helps you appreciate & maintain the Lamborghini classics even better. Here is that beautiful LP400S S3 again @ Toni's place, the full license plate on this French-registered car is 5000 NR 40 and it belongs/belonged to an F40 owner who insists on Toni maintaining the car. Nice 250 SWB in the background. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That's a picture. This is the closest I have gotten to 250 ownership. Not a swb, but a 250 GTE #3679 that was sitting next to my push button Pantera in Westly Ca years ago. In a sea going storage container all apart. Not much more money at the time. Shoulda bought both! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here's the same Countach in a great image stashed away amongst all the Ferraris and Ferrari engines, full registration showing, Maserati Ghibli in the background Image Unavailable, Please Login
Oh my...!!!!! This is the one!! Thanks a million for those wonderful photos!! That is really the first Countach I ever saw on the road in my hometown when I was a child! It was spinning on the largest roundabout in Biarritz then rocketted up north direction the Landes where it was registered. I screamed "Countach!" and rushed my grandpa' to follow it. But we just couldn't, in his Hyundai Pony.
Fantastic shot I've never seen before!! This LP400S is #1121018 sold new in June 1978 to Canada and appears to be one of only two bicolore 'Bianco/Rosso' interior LP400S built between 1978 and 1981! Those photos at the factory are the only ones ever found on all kind of media since 1978! 40 years this Countach hasn't been seen! Where are you hiding?
