Yes, absolutely. They've never been more than a year old in my case (most are about 4-6 months, I even had one that was four weeks old). I would return them otherwise.

A friend of mine owns the store. Deal with Allen or Zookie.

    Zook is still there?
I went there two years ago to get tires installed on my just-refinished 575 wheels, they damaged one and he first ignored me and then started cussing me out in front of other customers. He's the reason they lost my business.

Allen apologised, but they refused to admit they had done the damage.

Sorry to hear Mat. I don't blame you taking your business elsewhere if a job isn't done right. FWIW, they've been fair to me thus far. I'm picking up a set of wheels and tires for my Pepper. I'll let you know how that goes.

What does your local shop charge to install your supplied tires?

djempire I'll be curious to hear. It's a shame, as Allen seemed to be a decent guy and the place was well set-up. Oh well.

I have to say my jaw dropped this morning when I drove by Rocks Auto and saw a black F40! Love the Lagonda S1 as well. An Enzo was also visiting earlier this week.

Hi all, it's been about 10 years since I posted, but wondering if there's any recommendations for a mechanic to do a Timing belt for my 1994 348 Spider. I've driven the car about 300 kms total over the last 5 years, but due to age, I think it's time to change the timing, and change all the fluids. Any recommendations? I hear Tom's the one to call, but don't know where to find him.

A "Prayer" if I go to Daytona? I've heard good things about them, but just better things about EA. Well, let's not bash anyone here...I'm sure there's always 3 sides to every story, the 3rd being the truth :)

I have no dealings with EA so I cannot comment however my dealings with Daytona have been far from positive and I would caution anyone to consider them. While I totally agree that there are 3 sides to every story, even just the broad strokes of my story are pretty compelling and only get worse when you add in detail. I'd be happy to share my experience via PM and you are welcome to decide for yourself.

That was a funny scene! Keep an eye on your cock-tales.
I've been to Daytona a few times. Once for my Maserati and the other with my F430. Although they fixed my F1 problem on my F430, I had to get it towed the second time after it was given to me "repaired". Just saying.
