2 offers, the V12 (metallic red) is $60k more, V8 (solid white) has Carbon bits+Pano Roof, and V12 has more Leather details+Gold wheels. Heart says V12 but pocket says V8.

will use the car in city driving, summer all year long. im concerned that the pano roof will be hot. i never open my sunroof blinds in any of my cars because its hot and bright.

No supercar/sportscar/GT is ideal for city driving IMHO. But you cannot ignore that V12...

Pano roof is a non issue. I don’t like sunroofs and keep the shade closed in my Raptor.....whatever Ferrari did to that glass they did it right. No heat

I’m bias but it would be the V12 and get some black wheels

I’ve an F12. For an extra of $60K, just the sound of the V12 is worth it.

ive had an FF since new in 2012. i hate how often i need to gas up but the sound and power of the v12 makes up for it.
how about buying a pre owned lusso - that shld save you the 60k easy

These are the first Lussos that arrived for 2018, the allocation is only One V12, and Two V8s (with the 2nd car-Red on Black interior arriving in 4 months). So I can either buy the v8 or v12 now or wait for the incoming v8 and thats it, else i wait again for 2019 or do custom order which is 4-6 months.

I dont see how there could be a 60K difference in pricing. You can buy a V12 in the $260K range up to $280K, the T should be about 20K less used. These cars are sitting right now, you should be able toget a decent deal. Over time , I think the V12 will hold much better.

Both stunning options and agreed with @gilly6993 they did something to the roof and its magic, you just need to slightly tint the windows (35%) as well to block out the sun. I drove my 12 back to back with the V8 and while you gotta hand it to the 12 as incredible all around perfect package the V8 RWD really felt lighter and more nimble on its feet. So whatever you lose in the 12 sound and experience you gain in other areas on the 8. Just my little humble opinion.

Im not in the USA, the price here for the V12 is US$ 660,000 and the V8 is US$ 605,000, so its actually a $ 55,000 difference.

I'm driving a quattroporte V8 now which I believe the engine block is somewhat related to the V8 in the Lusso. I haven't got the chance to test drive both yet. Still working on $$$$$ :)

If you have to deal with nasty weather like snow or heavy rains like in Chicago, AWD of the V12 is a no brainer.

V8 shades it for me, heresy in some parts I know.:p
I really think you should drive them both.
They are not only very different cars to each other but probably to everything else you may have driven.

I drove them both and concluded that the V8 was superior in city driving and felt more sporty (I did a write up in one of the threads in this forum). Sure, the V12 sounds amazing. But the V8 is no slouch in the sound department either.

im leaning towards the red V12 pictured above, i think it looks cooler with the red alcantara interior accents with cuoio leather and the matte gold rims against metallic red paint. but it doesnt have the carbon steering wheel, red rev counter and calipers, carbon side vents, hifi audio, apple car play of the white V8. so all in all, the v8 is actually more loaded with options than the v12. though i was informed that only 1 v12 is allocated this year and 2 v8, so it really makes the v12 a unicorn here.

Hmm, I will go out on a limb here and say that you won't miss any of those options because I had my FF for 3 years and it was very basic, my Lusso is loaded and its not like I feel any more fulfilled for ordering a car that cost more then double the trade of my FF. The Rosso Met is sick! Go with that, sounds like the killer colour combo! The 12 will give you that "keeper" feeling and if you don' t already have a 12 in the stable then more reason to go with that option!

If you are doing mostly city driving, the V8 will be ideal due to its torque curve. If you spend lots of time on the highway where you get to WOT and keep the rev high, V12 will be the way to go.

if ur on a budget and mostly use in the city than v8. get a f12 or 812 in the future if u still feel the need for a v12. v12 lusso is a fun choice and that is it.

You dont want to buy a V8T and regret. For the sound of the V12 worth more than 60k

Im about to close a deal for the red v12 pictured above this weekend, i hope i dont get buyer's remorse once i get the car and for the years to come that i would be paying for it LOL.

I only have 2 options, the white v8 and the red v12 in the original post, no other stocks in my country for 2018 and these two are the only lusso's which have arrived ever since

Is there a actual weight difference on the v8 and v12 that is that significant? Per specs it’s not much and the v8 is slower to 60 but only by .1 second

    4150 vs 4233

There can be absolutely no regrets with a V12
