Has anyone had the experience of overtaking someone on a quiet rd safely but peddle down and then the guy in the car you overtook catches up and starts weaving dangerously close to the back of your fcar, should I refrain from overtaking in fear of offending the general public, perhaps the sound spooked him but boy it puts the wind up you when people react in that fashion [emoji849]sheesh! But I’m so approachable [emoji56]do you have a particularly sensitive moment that sticks out re other drivers? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I never thought of it like that but I’ll persevere and keep being respectful and pleasant to all on the highways and byways Even when I overtake at 8 thou with a smile and wave[emoji12] Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app

I'll have to try harder. In 1986 or so, I had a BB512 and a Silver Shadow II. The Roller cost me 1/3 of what the BB cost. Driving down the road in the BB got me smiles and waves and nothing but friendly conversation during fuel fills. In the RR, people literally looked at you like they hated your guts. I was always concerned that the RR would get keyed. No such concerns with the BB. Times have changed, however, and I believe many people now hate any sign of success. I wouldn't avoid leaving any expensive car anywhere.
Most people are really happy to see the car and I make an effort to say hello and answer questions ,I recon the BB is still right up there in the top 10 cars Is love to own,we passed one at palm beach a couple of months ago I think it’s the only one I’ve ever seen on the road, incredible presence and sound, as for Rolls Royce, I think I’d like to be sat in the back with a scotch in a crystal glass and to hell with the outside world [emoji12] Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Funny you should say that. I got a black cap for my then wife and got her to drive me around everywhere with me in the back seat. Pity I don't drink
Excellent! Sheesh your moving round that bend ,beautiful car do they actually handle quite well it’s a big car ? I imagine the Rolls would be a treat on long drives, feet up and silence Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
The BB is quite a handful. Terrible centre of gravity. Engine sits on top of the gearbox and 1/2 the cylinders are behind the axle. RR was a moving lounge room. It was an itch I had to scratch.
I’ve always fancied one of these unloved leviathans, this particular one ticks all the boxes the interior is gorgeous [emoji108] https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Rolls-Royce-Camargue-1986/SSE-AD-4727622 Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
