Thanks,l forgot it was an Aussie car.. Is there a record of any Aussie dry sump glass cars? l seem to recall someone saying there was..
l meant you owned your GTB which was a non aussie spec car and l’m pretty sure you have had experience in the past with owning non aussie spec cars so hence my comment,no not again..
Not this crap again! I don't buy non aussie spec cars UNLESS there was no version of that model that was aussie spec, like, for example, a 328GTB. I didn't think that after all these years it was something that still needed elaborating on. Clearly, once again, I gave too much credit. Of course, I still got SOME angst trying to sell if because some of the prospective purchasers didn't know that, so lost interest when they discovered it was a UK car. The guy who bought it was a) From the UK and b) wisely only wanted a GTB version, as it didn't ride like a piece of over cooked spaghetti like the GTS does. (Yes...I hopped straight out of one into the other regularly). You should all try a 328GTB...the difference compared to a GTS is astounding. I still maintain that the only people who buy non aussie spec cars only do so because they can't bring themselves to pay full wack on one or can't afford it. Usually, they'll suffer at sale time. I'm over that crap! Aussie spec for me every time (if it exists) or no sale!
Latest update on the worldwide search for a replacement solenoid... The guy in Gawler who has the “faulty” solenoid from my car has tested it extensively and decided that it actually works fine, but is probably out of adjustment. If it is possible to find out what the correct settings(?) are for it it should be relatively simple to fix. Does anyone know what they are and do we know anyone who could perform the adjustment? I’m also still chasing down a possible new one from somewhere, but without the original part number it is very difficult. Ferrari only supply a part number for the whole F1 power unit (of course), not individual solenoids. Magnetti moretti probably manufactured it and I’m in touch with their Oz people but again without a part number it’s going to be almost impossible to find.
F@#k you’re boring.. get over yourself mate,, l simply agree with you that you don’t buy Non Aussie spec cars,,l didn’t ask for your opinion whether GTS cars ride better than GTB cars or whether Aussie cars will sell quicker than import cars or whether people who buy imported cars don’t want to pay more than an Aussie spec equivalent,, We all get it that you don’t like or would buy an import,, Luckily there are idiots on here Greg,Steve and myself and others that are so foolish and cheap to buy imported cars.. But really,,what’s it to you?? Did you hear me ask for your opinion on that matter?? You know l was going to give you the benefit of the doubt that you are probably a nice guy in real life, and yeah you probably don’t give a toss whether l or anyone else on this Forum care if you are or not..but clearly l was wrong.. Anyway there’s no real need to reply or quote this message,,both the moderators and other members have had enough of it.. so let’s just you and l stay on our respective sides of the fence and let things be,, There are much more important things to worry about in life other than squabbling on Fchat..
I wasn't squabbling. Any squabbling is going on in your mind, not mine. I was elaborating on my previous post. Nothing more. geez....still a bit over sensitive, aren't you? No one else is reacting like you are. Says a lot, really. Calm down! and lol @ 'did you hear me ask for your opinion?" No one waits for an invitation to give their opinion on fchat!! Please forgive me for having one *rolls eyes* Anyway, more personal abuse and profanity bypassing, I see. I won't report you though. No need for me to reply you say? There was actually no need for YOU to reply, but you did, in an abusive way. I think the negative tone of your posts suggest you're just trying to get a reaction from me, but as usual, I'm not going to do more than stick to the facts.
