I took this pic in May 1985 at the then Swiss importer Autodiffusion SA in Meyrin-Geneva.

Blue California license plate…….pretty famous first owner (in the Ferrari world). Car is still in Switzerland today. But now has the Ansa trumpet exhausts.

Joe Sackey credibility is always excellent and intact. The same is for Massini: perfection is not from this planet, so nobody can ask perfections. But their way to talk with other enthusiasts, in my opinion, could be better or at least improved: a little less pride (by both) would not spoil and would increase pleasure into reading this very intersting thread, were we have to learn from what they (both) know, that is a lot. This, on the other side, doesn't mean that they know everything and that Others cannot add something interesting (and new), every now and then, to this thread.

Interesting pic as I am noticing the same thing with a 575 engine I am building. Ferrari use lock nuts, but then do not make the stud long enough to allow them to work correctly anyway! as at least two threads should protrude beyond the plastic. Wonder if the concours fanatics can confirm this is a typical thing?
