Disagree. All the hoops Ferrari has to jump through in meeting EU regulations distorts the final product they offer. By comparison the Corvette designers simply told the EU zealots 'no ZR1 Corvette for you'.

So are you saying that a ZR1 looks better then a 488? I didn't say that the regulations do not affect the design, I just said that a good looking design is still possible.
I agree with Mr. Dixon. There were several things the Corvette guys didn’t want or couldn’t do to sell in Europe. So they said forget about it! I personally don’t think the design would have suffered so much. Lamborghini and Ferrari pass all the regulations.
Designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, the Isuzu 117 Coupé, save for the Japanese home market mandated fender mirrors, is a beautiful automobile. And one I'd never heard of. Correct. Per Nissan press release: "Italdesign developed, engineered and built the car. The distinctive, crisp exterior and interior designs were created by the teams at Nissan Design Europe in London and Nissan Design America." The press release also explains the curious rationale for the collaboration between Nissan and VW (!) by dint of VW's ownership of the "old" design firm: "Based on a production 2018 Nissan GT-R NISMO model, the unique car commemorates the 50th anniversaries of both the GT-R and Italdesign..." "...Italdesign has been a part of the Volkswagen Group since 2010." BTW, the Giugiaroes' "new" company is GFG Style.
