United States emission regulations begun in January 1968. Chinetti continued to sell new cars for some time and declared they were "1967 production". If he had stated they were built in 1968, he would not have been able to sell the cars, as they did not meet the regs.

Comment from a long-time GTC owner.
Looks like a very thorough restoration and it should be a great driver.
Appears to be a Euro model but I didn't notice if it has A/C.

Mine is serial number 10795 and registered as a 1967.
The people from whom I purchased it (FAF Motorcars, now Ferrari of Atlanta) told me it was manufactured in November of 1967.

no factory a/c. as an owner, how would you feel about adding "factory" as part of a restoration?

    now i get it.
i am concerned about the price point as well. no factory air, no wire wheels and even though its red book certified, it is not a concourse car, platinum winner. the 695m asking price seems quite high in light of current auction results in the low 5 range for very nice cars very much like this one. i realize owners are partial and hope their cars are worth more, but i have been carefully looking at auction results and discussing trends with authorized dealers. i very much want a 330 gtc but won't overpay in this climate

I watched Mecum Indianapolis rerun last night, it looked like a red '67 330 didn't hammer @ $550,000. It was gorgeous and had ac iirc.

Agrun: 11235 was completed on April 6, 1968 and 11163 was completed on March 25, 1968, so pretty sure this car is 1968 completion.

I would not hesitate in the least to add AC after the fact, even if it was an aftermarket setup, like Vintage Air.
Remember, you're buying a car for your own comfort and enjoyment.
I removed the original AC compressor and condenser from mine at 162,000 miles because I plan to upgrade it to a more modern configuration.
I completely agree with your quest to find a GTC.
I've used mine as a regular driver since I purchased it on November 8, 1975.
I really can't think of a car that I'd want over the GTC.
When you find the right car, go for it - you'll never regret it!!!

Delighted and reassuring to hear about use as regular driver. Thank you for your insight.
