Honda changing all the PU components on Brendon’s car prior to the race. This is for tactical reasons, given that he qualified on the back row. There were no technical issues with the PU on Saturday! Honda will fit a complete new power unit to Hartley's car for the race, meaning he starts last .
Honda changed whole power unit in Hartley's car, he moves one place back to the end of the grid. Japanese manufacturer using already 5th components in 9th race of the season (regulations require just 3 ICEs, tubors and MGU-Hs for 21 races). Image Unavailable, Please Login

To all those experts who know everything (afterwards ).... What do you think Seb should do today? Play it safe, secure the point (6th) to "see the bigger picture" even when this means handing over the WDC to Mercedes at this time of the year....Or attack and try to get as many points as possible, even if that includes the risk of a crash? We have seen after the last race that a lot of people knew better afterwards, so it would be refreshing if they would say upfront for a change
He needs to overtake max, and he'll need to do that quick.... If he manages to take him he'll have 3rd secured. If he doesn't...he'll be 5th (or 4th if max overtakes Kimi).
So Alonso starts from the back, because he needs a new front wing and that breaches Parc Ferme rules. That baffles me. I think it was last year that Vettel banged the wall of champions, and Ferrari was allowed to precautionary swap most of the suspension around before the race, but not losing any positions. How can a front wing swap possibly warrant that type of ****ing penalty then? F1 rules are idiotic.
It is strange. Any chance they broke so many they didn’t have any spare yesterday and could only fix one or get it new too late?
