Yes, one day you're showing off to your mate how late you can brake for a fast corner, then the solenoid that activates the rear wing decides to die and you're in big trouble.

I'm curious as to why people buy cars like that. It's marketed for it's track abilities, yet it's not a race car, there is no series that you can race it in and the sensations are a long way from a real race car - even the obviously biased tester said the engine sound was boring and the car lacked the NVH (noise, vibration and harshness) of a race car.

A million bucks? Pfft, I'd walk straight past it for an F40.

 

I hear you Ian, It would be a treat to try one on a track just for kicks, a million would get me a prewar Bug and change for a 3litre Bentley at a stretch[emoji51]

I do like the CS bumper and skirts

 

I can say the Portofino is an absolutely cracking car.
Scary fast, sounds good, looks great, and yet would be an easy car to live with as a daily driver.
Ferrari really have got it right.
