Might as well switch off your TV's and go and do something else boys and girls - According to the UK's (totally unbiased! ) Channel 4 coverage (and I suspect SKY TV are reporting the same), Lewis Hamilton has already won the race easily! Seb might as well not bother getting in the car today, and go and rest his neck, and top up his tan instead, because apparently, due to that one qualifying lap yesterday, he is slower than Hamilton over a race distance (The weird thing is, on Friday in FP2, I seem to recall Seb being the quicker of the two, including in race trim! ). Eddie Jordan has even declared that, even if Seb gets ahead of Hamilton at the start, Hamilton will easily get back past him and leave him behind in the race! So there you go, unless you're a Lewis Hamilton fan, apparently you're just wasting your time today - You have been warned! (Personally speaking, I'll risk wasting my time and say: "C'mon Seb - Spoil the party! )
Merc ready to sacrifice Bottas (split strategy) for Ham win?http://www.skysports.com/amp/f1/news/12433/11429546/british-gp-mercedes-vow-to-be-aggressive-in-ferrari-fight
It's painful, more than ever this race. Can only really count on Martin Brundle at being as central as possible.
They know Ferrari are fast. Its an impression that they hope to keep the lead anyway they can and for Ferrari's potential race pace and blistering to assist. It is a team sport lol
Bit late now, but just thought of a great drinking game for the British Grand Prix: From the start of the TV coverage, you have to drink a shot every time you hear Lewis Hamilton's name mentioned! I guarantee you will never see the start of the race (Or the rest of the day! )
It's been roasting for about a month now ...unreal ...1976 was the last time I remember it like this ...
