Be good to see a few more live examples of Pista in red with the available stripe options. So far we’ve seen just the usual silver black silver stripe, the double silver, and the black silver black, but no double black stripe on red. Also no picks of red with the stock coloured dark wheels.
Same here. My Speciale is RM which is utterly stunning. My friends think I should match the two but I like a little variation. I would love to have the bottle to go green (sounds like there is a pun in there somewhere) but I think yellow could be just the thing for me. When you google ‘yellow Pista’ nothing serious comes up.
on the PISTA configurator there is an option for matte black stripe---if the cars are generally cleared after gloss stripes--how would this be accomplished ?

Image Unavailable, Please Login I just saw this here in London at HR Owen. 1/4 scale wind tunnel model of the Pista!
Don't disagree, though Titanio seems to have a noticeable blue-ish tint on the renders. Part of the fun. Besides I detail my own cars.
New color.......grigio opaco with customized bicolor livery in giallo canarino opaco Notice no carbon outside but matt black Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks for sharing but it looks absolutely terrible - the worst example seen to date imho. It's like what colour/stripe combo never to do in a Pista.
I’d have to agree, though I’m certain we’ll see some other pretty horrible specs as time goes by. Still, interesting to see other colors, even if I would never get them on mine.
...well examples like that certainly serve as a lesson on what NOT to do so on a positive note keep em coming I guess. Re that one, I'm sure the staff at Ferrari cringed building it and thought very seriously about allowing it leave the factory gates. I also think matt is something best left as a wrap - that way it can be removed. TBH I much prefer looking at good examples. What annoys me is having to wait so long just to get one built myself only to see examples like that being built....straight up vandalism in my eyes.
My understanding is that color wraps use an adhesive unlike a clear film and if not removed after a few years can be very difficult to remove especially if the car has had a lot of sun time. And why anyone would want to put a matt finish on a Ferrari is beyond me.....looks ****ing terrible...and that's putting it kindly!!
Image Unavailable, Please Login I was considering this combo but not sure to like the Matt on long term ..
I'd pay attention to your own doubts on that. Boredom can lead to doing regrettable things.....a common thing seen with some of the more wealthy. I've heard it said that human kind is the only species that ignores its own instinct - leading to all sorts of disasters.
Shadowfax....you are so right ! You summarized my concern...on top being a classical person I was sure that on long term I will not like the Matt finish... I hate for instance the black Matt...this silver one was appealing ....but not a keeper... My cars are Silver, White and Red...but really puzzled about the specification for the Pista..was considering yellow but again the same story ...not sure about it on long term... Well shortly speaking i can be happy having this "concern" Tam And pls sorry for my bad English...
