812 production time from first photo?

Apologies in advance if this has been answered a few times, but I received my first production photo today and I have been working w my AD to determine if I will make it through production by end of month and the aug break. Given where we are in the month, thoughts on if I will make it in time? I was late to get my spec in so only have myself to blame if it spills into September.

Thanks for the reply....and was thinking the same. Had an F12 and several of the 8’s but never terribly concerned about the final weeks as I never was backing up against the August shut down. I will check in again with dealer to see how close we are. Just don’t recall what the typical build cycle is.

 

Thanks! Super excited to get it as I miss my F12 dearly. We have been tracking together but it’s been a couple of weeks (since they showed it in early production versus the pic I received). I will ping them to see what the latest code is and hoping that it’s on the fast track...they thought it would be close to the cutoff.

Super helpful and very similar to my time frame thus far. What did catch me by surprise was stage 90 to shipping, that seems really long. Anything abnormal there? I plan to fly mine to CA as I have done in the past and they thought if I made it before the close I would have it later August but maybe not.

 

I can only imagine...can’t wait to see pics and hope u have it soon to enjoy. The ultimate tease!

Congrats to you too! Sounds like you are pretty safe on making it out before the summer closure. I think I may be too late but others have given me some optimism around the timing of the photos and the actual completion date.

 

Made it! Hitching a flight in the couple of weeks. Happy to post some pics if anyone is interested in the spec. Thanks for all the thoughts/feedback.
