I thought it was a good first stop. It covered Hamilton and put him into dirty air. Hamilton sounds like Ham Elton, abbreviated to Elton. It started in Britain and it's typical for the British to give abbreviations or alternate words for surnames as nicknames for sportsmen/celebrities. Some of my wife's relatives, Hamilton fans living in England (not on FChat), affectionately call him Elton. For some reason, FChat seems to have really picked up on this one from some vociferous British-based Tifosi. All the best, Andrew.
What should happen +5 sec time penalty for LH What will happen everyone else +5 sec penalty for not following Louis racing line! LH wins by 10 sec Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Logic would say (referring to quoted Kimi's case) - 5s penalty, that would make Hamilton 2nd to Bottas. Hamilton is "protected" (not as much as Max, but still ) so no further action...
Does not matter how superior the car, when your whole team fails! The whole team at Scuderia Ferrari needs to be fired for making countless tactical and practical errors this season! That also includes the drivers, but unfortunately there aren't many good drivers to go around.
Question: did Bottas drop back because Mercedes themselves feared a penalty coming? Would make sense why he drove that far behind after showing he actually could drive faster? So Bottas with enough gap would leave Lewis in front even with a penalty... Gesendet von meinem SM-G930F mit Tapatalk
Whiting: "We wanted to wait until after the race, after the rain and everything had calmed down, to look at it." Whiting: "He was going to come into the pits - but he actually didn't come into the pits. He could get anything. A reprimand, a five or a ten second penalty..."
With the way the tyres where blistering I'm not sure it was a wise choice....yes on covering Hamilton. Apart from that I found it a strange one.
Kimi was already struggling mightily by then due to tires, and Vettel had probably lost a lot as well. But he still threw this one away.
Hammy won’t get anything for this; only when Ferrari does it. Seb is no schumy that’s for sure.... Next race will be a Red Bull track.
Begins to remind 2008 - when Massa would have been easily champion without the countless mistakes (even with those, he lost by only 1 point...)
I mean cmon now about Vet not good at driving wets. Last time I checked Ham and Shu did crash out on wet also by their own mistake. They're only human and I suspect Vet will be having nightmares as he said. I hope that mistake will be giving him better strength in the coming races.
I would take a 10 point disadvantage in WDC over the 17 point deficit any day so it does matter Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
maybe so ...but he got away scot free with jumping out of his moving car etc ..so i think he deserves a lil bit at least
Fully agreed mate. I need to double check on this but prior to his crash Vettel was FLYING the 2-3 laps before it, I think he created a sizeable gap! Senna, Prost, can add them to the list also of great drivers that crashed in the wet.
Well that’s sport, and sport as a metaphor for life. Allow Seb his tears, I think he feels he’s has let the team down. That makes him “Uno di Noi” in my book. There is a long way to go in this season. Strategy going forward is simple: 1) Shoot the surrender monkeys. 2) Fight to win every race. We have the car and the engine for the first time in the hybrid era. We can win this !
