    I did not understand it yesterday and I still do not: why did Ricciardo save ultrasofts in the Q1? Where is the sense to drive a soft and a medium tire to save three sets of ultras for the race? He will not need those three anyway but now has to used used tires...

    He mentioned in the interviews that they had a soft to use and thought it was safe but he admitted it was tricky with the cold track and agreed that the ultra was the safer option.
