So, Hungary. Impossible to overtake similar performance cars, the rain yesterday put paid to anything other than place gains through strategy or problems for ferrari.

By rights, Mercedes should be very scared that bottles is banned for a few races, he seemed intent on crashing into Seb and ricci rather than be passed if you want to take a Mercedes style view of the race

Another snore fest of a race, another totally predictable result due to the nature of the circuit. No rain on Saturday it’s a nailed on ferrari pole, and subsequently win. Rain makes Mercedes get pole, so they win. Hardly shocking

I expect to see bottles get at least six penalty points on his licence for the ‘racing incidents ‘ just as Kimi was treated before. Will it happen? Will it ****. Mercedes will be packing the saddlebags with euros as we speak!

Hahaha, we can wax lyrical about the scuderia all day and night and no one that enters will be under any illusion that it’s inhabited by pure Tifosi lunatics....... love it.

 

So, now we are in the off season, I have to say, I have two months of grid girls to view and judge, which may keep me busy for a bit. What else is up?, anyone doing anything remotely interesting while we wait for it all to start up again?

In the off season, Ferrari need to get their heads together and decide, what is Kimi there for? Is he to drive around, purely to collect points and stay out of Sebs way, or is he there as a previous world champion, an accomplished, capable driver, to race for Ferrari, to try to win for Ferrari, but should the need arise and he’s ahead, then to let Seb through.

If they can finally stop trashing Kimis race to benefit nothing, and let him go at Bottles, go at elton, he’d be pressurising them. When the race started, Seb managed to go past Kimi. No problem. However, when he demonstrated he was quicker in the early stages, and Seb couldn’t do anything about bottles, that is the time to tell Kimi to go get bottles, make his life a misery, make the Mercedes destroy their fragile rear tyres. If it had cost Kimi an early pit, so what, that was always Ferrari’s plan anyhow.... it was a no brainer. Maybe he forces his way past and gets to hassle elton, maybe bottas stays in second but screws his tyres and has to pit too early, or let’s Seb drive past him through lack of ability to defend.

The same later in the race, Kimi collects his millions knowing he is second fiddle - he doesn’t care, he doesn’t get upset, he knows what his salary pays him to do. He will drive whatever strategy ferrari want him too (just like bottles does for merc, he knows he is wingman, not maverick, regardless of whether that smarmy prick toto retracts what he says or not).

Had ferrari let Kimi through, attack bottles, get past, chase down elton, neither Mercedes had the tyres later on for a sustained fight, nor to increase the pace and have a regular increased lap time to keep ferrari at bay. Ferrari’s insistence that the first ferrari on track is Seb, regardless of best strategy has cost another race we could have won. The only strategy that could have won the race once we failed to get past off the line was this one. We didn’t do it, so merc won.

This summer, ferrari has to get this right, get this sorted, or they will only win races when it’s clear cut. We haven’t got THE fastest car, we have a very fast car that on its day is better than the Mercedes. It’s still touch and go, very dependent on weather and track conditions, it’s not the F2002 or last years mercedes. We need a class act like Kimi to do what everyone (except ferrari it seems) knows he will - drive to the best benefit of his team and his buddy Seb. He knows if he does, eventually when Seb has the title sewn up, he will get his chance to win himself.

 

Oh no, chubby chasing again Moretti? I couldn’t entertain a fat girl, it’d make me queasy just seeing her clothes, let alone if she started undressing! Yuck

Funny thing is, I had you pictured as crocodile Dundee between two big birds that looked like Donk in a dress (from the film!) heheheh

 

Mercedes got a sweetheart deal to stay in f1, and were able to start design of their engines much earlier than anyone else. The components were as per Mercedes request along design channels they had planned already. This resulted in the farce of the last four seasons, where merc were ahead by a margin and development for everyone else was almost entirely frozen and no testing allowed (a few days testing is basically no testing)

It’s taken five years, but ferrari have finally caught up, by hook or by crook. Merc thought they would see out the current regs as champions every year, and now that we threaten that (merc clearly have more faith in our strategists than any Tifosi has) they are clutching at every straw to deflect us

They don’t care if they can try to get parts banned, drivers reprimanded, anything, as long as they don’t lose. If ferrari manage to win the title, expect Mercedes to protest the result and continue to argue into the new year so that it unbalances ferrari development of next years car and, if they did lose, next year merc will try to get it back by means fair or foul, it’s all the same to them

Before I report you for being so bloody cantankerous!

Mercedes has a better car than ferrari for four years in a row, and the title justifiably, if not fairly, went to them. Rosberg came close every year, and beat elton one of them, so I hardly say that elton is the best driver out there, no one beat Michael in the same machinery to a title

This year, the ferrari is almost a match for the Mercedes on some circuits, and Mercedes have resorted to all sorts of tactics, like trying to get our cars scrutinised out of performance, accusing our drivers of trying to crash into them, all sorts of ********. I haven’t seen ferrari resorting to the same tactics, and arrivebene hasn’t once claimed that Mercedes are cheating, or that bottles sabotaged Vettel, or anything else.

Fact is, ferrari have class, have style, and have history. If we win, it will be on merit. Merc, if they win, it will be because they cheated and schemed their way to it.

Elton is not the best driver in the field, Alonso is, with Elton, Seb, Ricci and, once a bit more mature, Max the next tier. Give the Mercedes to any of them, they’d win at least as much as elton, probably more because they wouldn’t spend half their time moaning and whining about things that happen, or mistakes made by the pits.
