It's not only my perspective, it's also plain facts !!! You may have your reasons for disputing facts, and that's not my problem, but the stats are there. Just have a look, the FIA Formula 1 records support my statement. Lewis Hamilton had collected more poles, got more podiums, won more GPs, and was 3 times WDC more han anyone else during the last 5 seasons. I am not making it up. The FIA records don't mention luck as a factor.
Really? I looked back through what I’d missed, the same characters are still nitpicking at ferrari from what I saw, on subjects as diverse as kimis wife to sebs haircut..... if that’s f1, then so is anything I’ve posted too
From my perspective, it's not your content, it's how you deliver it. I've rarely seen the moderators admonish for subject...only when something turns P&R. I HAVE seen many scoldings for delivery, though.
I couldn’t help but be intrigued, so I checked. No, my posts are not top of the searches, but this one of yours is if you google it. Also, another reference to page 11 of this very thread, but again, It wasn’t a post of mine that was referenced by the robots at google I knew I wasnt as bad as everyone thinks
even if he was gay ,I don't see any problem in it.He would not be the only one of current, retired or ledgendary drivers. It has 0 influence in their driving.I would never name or out anyone because it is absolutely inaceptable to out someone.
True, and the fact that Lewis wants to emulate his hero in every way is indicative of his commitment. Take Haywood as an example; what he did in his personal life was irrelevant to him being one of the road racing giants.
I actually do not care at all whether he is straight, gay, bi or anything else....so I was debating with myself whether I should post at all but one question remains... When someone says xyz is gay, why is that homophobic automatically? Those who think that calling someone gay is an "insult" should check their own mind because they obviously come themselves to the conclusion that gay has to be something negative or why else would it be "insulting"? When I call a gay friend gay why does that make me homophobic? Just a thought for all those who play the political correct ones here... That said I still do not care about Lewis sexual preferences... It's also the manner in which Stewart and Clark succeeded. Both were class characters who didn't moan or sulk when their car was less than perfect.
Simply skimming this thread will reveal a NUMBER of posts that clearly suggest that him being gay... whether true or not...is a taunt, insult, whatever. IOW, it's being used derogatorily...THAT reflects poorly on the poster, not Lewis...super dooper hyper loop injunctions aside, of course.
They drove in a different era,, with far less media exposure too : no internet, no twitter, no fan club, etc .. .
But as I said: it also reflects on those thinking they have to "defend" Lewis because I do not see what has to be defended... if he is gay so be it, if not as well. Why is it seen discreditable anyway. I only remember to Lewis super fanboy toil who said Lewis can't be gay because a gay person would lack the aggression needed to be a successful F1 driver...now we are talking about prejudices about gay people!!! Internet, Twitter and fan clubs do not prevent being a gentleman.... Gesendet von meinem SM-G930F mit Tapatalk
Yeah... I don't remember that sentiment because I had little patience for anything relating to Hamilton when Toil was participating. I've since softened because so many others have "gone off the deep end" with the hatred... It's a pretty awful suggestion.
I think you might’ve misinterpreted my post - - I should’ve said LACK OF VERACITY. Are you suggesting Lewis’ hero Senna was gay, and Lewis wants to emulate him in EVERY way?
If he came out as gay I would actually respect his hardship way more. Instead of all that crap about being raised in the toughest part of the world (Stevenage?) as the poorest kid on the block etc...
Why are y’all so interested in his sexual preference? More so why are y’all so into putting someone down for being Gay. As a someone who is gay I find this highly offensive and shines a negative light on all of you. No I’m not reporting this. I don’t see the point.
Here you are... he is the most successful, but does that mean he is the best? You are confusing "most succsesful" with "best" and your facts are a driver/car combination, not the driver alone!!! Or do you say that Vettel was the best for 4 years and then all of the sudden when driving a hybrid Mercedes Lewis figured out how to drive and all of the sudden he is the best and Vettel not anymore? In recent years it is more the car than the driver or do you thik Nico was the best of all of them when he won the WDC?
