    Comparing yourselves to states with incompetent Labor govts is hardly meaningful, but I agree with your point, things usually turn around quickly after the socialists are evicted.

    But people keep voting for them... look at QLD, $80Bn debt that will never be repaid. Obviously no shortage of idiots there.

    To do what...winch the aircraft out or the bus?

    To winch the bus out you need something to attach the end of the winch to,they're at the beach which I suspect would need a few hundred metres of string AND the thing is pointed the wrong way.

    Also I wouldn't have thought the aircraft would have a strong enuff tow point....anyhow the aircraft made it's own way out.

    If the bus had a winch would have been smarter to use it to winch the aircraft with an incoming tide

    Mate of mine many years ago bogged his Landcruiser at La Peruse launching his boat , couldn't get it out nor could I so we went up to the pub and had a few beers filling out the insurance :p

    Then by chance the editor of a 4wd magazine turned up, asked who the idiot was that left his car in the bay :p

    Paul said "It's stuck , forget it, I'll get a new one" (should have said 'I've got a new one coming next week :p )

    The editor guy took the keys, jumped in the Landy and rocked the car back and forward very quickly and got the thing out in under a minute :cool::cool::cool:

    Very implessed :)
