We will be 100% sure when a site like "Autosport" will confirm, or when an official communiqué comes from Renault or Ricci...

Well, ahem....but it certainly could start some other moves, notably for Sainz Jr (almost certain, but to Red Bull or to McLaren?), Gasly, perhaps Ocon, etc...
So we do have a silly season indeed, after all!

    Force india.

Sainz to Red Bull by default then. Perez at Force I imagine with Stroll, Ocon to Williams.

Ocon to Williams? I hope not.

Now that I've said that...Max and Sainz don't get along at all. So maybe Gasly? Sainz to Mclaren?

I don't see where else he can go....Mercedes has some connection with Williams still and they pay Ocon.

For the sake of me, I'm dumbfounded. Can't understand it, from either point of view (= his, or R.B). Something must haved soured.

Perez (rather than Ocon) should get the boot to “make room” for Stroll.

The team might have sensed a delay in him. Max has immense support in the team and or the Honda deal is not to Ricci's liking. He will be with a full factory team and that might include better pay/stability and benefits to his liking. He needs to be wary of Hulk a touch. Max might not be so happy now if the Honda does not perform well either. I think Max will assess this with respect to Honda and go to Ferrari if it fails(Honda) lol in 2020.

I’d much prefer Ricciardo go to Ferrari over LeClerc. The latter isn’t quite ready. However, Seb will resoundingly veto that idea, as he would the idea of Alonso returning to Ferrari.

And the journey man slowly moves down the ladder of the teams. No surprise.

No, he has not be confirmed at Renault yet, but the Rumor (I write "the Rumor") is that an official communiqué will be issued by Renault in the days to come.
I would very much like to see him at Ferrari, but Sergio Marchionne said that his demand of $20 millions per season was to much, and Ricci himself has said that he never was under the impression that Ferrari considered his application seriously.
    But who knows?
Kimi left for vacation with peace of mind, as the rumor these last days was that he has regained preference over Leclerc. His phone must be bipping right now...

I suppose he knows Red Bull Honda won't be winning soon and took the cash. Marko must be quite stingy if he let Ricciardo go for a money issue.
