Thanks for the details. Would love to see the window sticker when you are able to post. This price increase has me a little deflated...I’m slightly less excited about my upcoming delivery now. My wife is going to be pissed...she was already giving me grief back when I placed the order and my spec crept over 300k...ugh. All of a sudden the idea of buying a secondhand 458 is sounding a little better (pun intended). Sorry to sidetrack your thread on the pricing. No real change in the cost of the listed options ( can't tell about "other options" ). Anybody know what the base price was on a 2018 GTB ?
tickerhound, Thanks so much for posting the 2019 window sticker -- very helpful! When I compare to my original buyer's order with the dealership it looks like $9,847 increase to the base price and $1 or $2 differences on a handful of options but generally the same as I was expecting. I'm relieved -- after your previous post on Sunday afternoon, I was bracing myself for a $20K+ increase in the overall price. My incoming spec is very similar to yours, just less carbon fiber trim and I went with STC2, red lower dash, red central tunnel and the diamond-cut wheels. Congrats again, and please post more photos when you take delivery! -Luke
Thanks Luke- Wed/Thurs weather permitting. Awesome on your spec with the red lower dash. I actually ordered carbon fiber in the engine compartment but it didn't arrive that way. Going to get the parts at cost from the dealer. I installed those in my 458 ands it really make the engine compartment pop.
Nice - I love the carbon fiber engine bay, that will look great with all of the other carbon components you have. I didn’t order the carbon fiber engine bay and regretted it, so I already bought the MyRicambi aftermarket kit...just sitting here in a box ready to install as soon as take I possession. My 458 spider ran to $317K. I could never get the homelink to work with the gates in our Condo. The dealer tried also and gave up. I love homelink. I hope you get yours to work!
My 2018 488 Spider (May build) came with the rear camera. I didn’t order the camera, nor was it listed on the window sticker.
I love the carbon fiber in the engine bay. I had it from the factory on my 430 and just made the engine compartment look so much better. Even thought about doing it in my 458 Spider (I know - you can't see it anyway) BTW - Exact spec I was thinking about when I talked to me dealer about a 488. Had the allocation but never pulled the trigger. Congrats!
Pay a **** ton of tax! I trade stocks and options and most of my gains are short term and taxed as regular income. Cost of doing business.
