I don't own #006, my brother-in-law Justin does. He bought it last January and made it street legal in Canada. Super passionate lambo guy. Any v12 Lambo in the family is a wonderful thing. Between him and I we have (6) v12's from the Countach to the Aventador. We get to enjoy all of them. I love that SVR... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank you for clarifying this, looks like i missunderstood this, when you posted some photos here shortly after purchase.
Very rare stuff, congrats! I think this is a confirmation, that the Monterey edition wasn´t just a US distributor idea, also accepted and confirmed by the factory itself.
All 4x generations of the SV models in one test of AutoBild a few years ago. The Diablo SV MY99 in this test is XLA1209, which is the brochure car of the MY99 model. Image Unavailable, Please Login

And here are the factory brochure shoots when the car was new. In the past years several things were changed on interior as well as on the exterior. Different seat piping, passenger handle, alloy pedal pads, switch from semi gloss interior parts to carbon fiber, ashtray delete, SV-R rear wing, custom exhaust, silver front side markers. I guess there are several other items... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
seat piping colour changed ? orange -> white ? how without complete seat retire ? or is that what's been done ?
I guess the current piping is silver. Maybe the first owner wanted silver piping so they changed the seats at the factory. Have a note on the middle tunnel, on the brochure photo its semi gloss painted and non leather except the pad. The current photos shows a whole alcantara middle tunnel.
not sure if this has been posted previously (where's search thread gone ?) 1999 RHD Yellow SV at Gosford Classics, Australia https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/lamborghini/diablo/lamborghini-diablo-sv-1999/8897697
This XLA12099, first delivered to UK and previously discussed here. Anyway thanks for the link David!
Maybe a good opportunity to purchase a Diablo SV MY98 Monterey edition. To be more specific, this is WLA12027, the last of the 20 Monterey Edition built: https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/fl19/fort-lauderdale/lots/r0142-1998-lamborghini-diablo-sv-monterey-edition/744990 (no affiliation)
These photos were taken in Dijon at Lamborghini Days in october 1997. Recently i found out its VLA12739, one of very few SVS. So far i dont have any confirmation who built the SVS, maybe these are SV-R which were converted to SVS -> i assume S imply street. Just a wild guess. One thing is for sure, most of the SVS were sighted in Germany. View attachment 2654365 View attachment 2654366
My Guess is that these were left over SVR cars which were then adapted to sell them for street use or these were simply ordered by Kremer in the hope to benefit from the SVR publicity. What I know, they have been built like this in the factory and in total only 4 exist.
I've been looking around for a '99 SV for sale. I have checked out the ones listed on line and was wondering if anyone has a car that is not listed yet but is interested in selling. The mods can move this post if they feel they need to. Seemed like the best place to me.
The presence of a Diablo SV on streets is incredible. Blu le mans suits perfect to the body lines. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Easy to recognize on this photo, this particular wears a low wing and wheels extensions. Also you can clearly see the difference of the standard and the SE30/Roadster rear bumper. The SE30/Roadster makes the rear looking heavier... Just my 2 cents! Image Unavailable, Please Login
