Kimi either stays at Ferrari or goes home.

^McLaren should try to get Kimi. But I think Kimi will resign with Ferrari.

McLaren is looking bleaker by the minute. Losing Ricciardo to Renault was really an insult to McLaren.

watched the video on his Twitter. The shot where he looks up at Michael's helmet is cool. Also love how he says somthing along the lines of "I have been through many changes in the sport, some good, some not so good" and it shows the V10. Lol, subtle **** you to these crappy new engines

What a waste of a talent! Wonder who could be considered his antithesis in terms of talent/success, by which I mean someone lucky enough to always end up in the best place at the best time and win more than he deserved... :)

Ricci move to Renault was not predictable - FA leaving is and so offers no shock to me at all.

Honda was the final bridge burned.

I can understand Alonso's frustration with Honda but he was wrong in being so insulting to them every week. He was not helping his team. Then they dumped their best sponsor to keep him happy.

Then when it's all over, it turns out the Mac chassis he was defending is crap.

Whose fault is it that no team wants him no matter what his talent is?

All this, the day after Scott Dixon announces he's resigned with Ganassi...

I wouldn't be surprised to see Alonso sign up with Penske.

No one here knows what Mclaren promised or told him so as far as disappointment he is no worse than Max ranting about Renault lately either. I have zero issues with FA speaking his mind. WE ALL ask for that = please will the driver's stop being so corporate etc etc. He speaks his minds. Thats an issue for Mclaren and Honda at the time. He was not wrong at all either. The PU from Honda was terrible LOL :)

Alonso burned their best sponsor in public. It's one thing to be critical of the workings of your team and another to enrage public opinion against them.

Alonso has never been a team player, which is why Ferrari wouldn't resign him.

F1 losing Alonso but keeping Kimi is a disgrace.

I wouldn't call it a disgrace but I have to think that Alonso in Kimi's car would have a few wins.

No. He couldn’t. If he could he would have because he had the chance multiple times. He is not a team player. He is a destroyer of teamwork and teams. His record proves this. His being snubbed without much discretion publically by teams including those with the money and the need of a driver of his talent proves this.

Exactly. In a world as cut throat as F1, he has offended the offenders. That’s saying something.

You’re very mistaken and short sighted with this. If driving was all it took. Alonso the team destroyer would be hired in an instant by RBR or Merc or Renault. He hasn’t been and for obvious reasons. Kimi is driving more consistently than Seb.

I think you misunderstand me. What I mean is by sheer talent, he could. But there is something in him that teams just can't rally around.

I still believe this is more of a slap in the face of McLaren (aka Zak Brown).

Alonso would love to race in F1 next year. Brown said he was doing everything he could to keep him

In the end Alonso would rather leave F1 than spend another year at McLaren.

Seriously, how can you say Ferrari's last world World Champion doesn't belong in F1. That's ridiculous, you do know he finished third in his last race right. I wish I could drive half as well as either of them.

Secondly, Kimi is exactly what Ferrari wants. A guy who has talent but is willing to give up results for Ferrari to make Seb the champion. I am not a big fan of team orders but lets not blame Kimi for not winning races when everyone knows his role and anyone with a brain can see how hard he has to work for the results he gets. Bottles is in the same boat with Elton and Mercedes, so I think Kimi has done a hell of a lot to deserve his drive.
