I believe the article summed it up quite well. NOTHING is impossible, given enough time & money, but the pedestrian protection regs make it improbable. Too complex & costly to meet the regulations. The added weight to get them to work doesn't help either. And aero benefits are negligible given they have to be 'up' during nighttime driving. So there you have it. With today's flush mounted lamps, you pretty much have the same look, but with glass. Just my $.02. Friend of mine made this video:https://www.facebook.com/164320570658359/posts/518628738560872/
One of the things I loved about my first Ferrari, an RC/shields tan Daytona 456M, was that it was the last Ferrari with pop-up headlights. The front just looks so clean. Image Unavailable, Please Login That said, maintaining the motors was a headache. No longer available, so you have to rebuild them. The 360's lights are trouble free and easy to "maintain" (Change dead bulbs).

Love those doors! The whole design is nice and clean. I imagine they'll have to use carbon fiber to get enough torsional rigidity with those.
Opel... think that I just heard that it's not part of GM any longer... Peugeot-Citroen? Vauxhall too? Very nice looking vehicle.. Can't read the link...
Sorry about the link. I'll try to get the correct one. Yes, GM sold Opel/Vauxhall to Peugeot/Citroen last year.

Looks nice! Even more exciting is that the BMW version shares some commonality with the 2019 Supra. Unfortunately, does not look like the Supra will be offering a roadster.

The central driving position is cool, although it's strange to keep the body of the car that wide if they're not going to make it a 3-seater like a McLaren F1 or SCG 004. Aesthetically, it is not good. Looks very awkward. All the best, Andrew.

Looking at that first image... it would be very interesting if the driver's cockpit inside the cabin could be moved central, to the left, or to the right on demand. Therefore, you could have a Formula 1 experience on your own, or drive with a passenger beside you in a removable passenger cockpit. All the best, Andrew.
