Way2fast: As soon as I saw that second pic down, I knew exactly where it was taken ...... saw the thread title after the fact. Fun road...... did it a couple of times on a motorcycle.... once in the rain and it was still fun.

It was in the oven for several minutes. I can't remember the exact temp but I got it from another thread. If you give it enough time to get warm, the lens comes off no problem. It helps if you've got two people -- one with oven mitts on to hold the housing (it's hot!) and another to pry off the lens.

How easy is this install? I’d love to do it on my Scud. Also where did you obtain the kit?

The install is not bad -- maybe 4/10 difficulty.

I got a kit on eBay:

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Ferrari-308-QV-328-Air-Horn-Compressor-New-/202299892369

I was not expecting much at that price but it turned out to be authentic Bosch parts. It's definitely louder than the stock horns and it sounds just like the 308/328 horns.

The hardest part is taking off the front bumper, then lining everything up to put the bumper back on when you're done.
