I have seen a bit of discussion on this topic before by I wanted input on my personal decision. Seems a few people are unloading Lusso’s with next to no miles as their Superfast or Pista’s are getting close and might be time to buy.

Background. This car will be in Minnesota replacing my black M5. I have a Rosso Corsa 458. My wife has a white BMW, soon to get something new.

Nero concerns. Not sure it shows the lines very well on the Lusso. Seems to look a bit like the 1,001 Back Panamerica’s on the road. I have driven black M5’s for a long time (good or bad).

Bianco concerns. White and Minnesota. Wife’s car color. Guys my age think of white Ferrari’s and Miami Vice.

Your thoughts are greatly appreciated in my first world problem!

When I bought my Lusso there were over 30 on cars.com...now there are 18 2017's.....an interesting trend.....

Bianco....powder coat the wheels matte black, some tint on the windows....one bad ass looking car....

Avoid white the majority for sale are white. Strongly suggest Nero Daytona. The metallic paint looks great on this car. Ferrari of Lake Forest has a new one in stock. Been debating the car but have no need for 4 seats. Ask for Greg Berner at Lake Forest. I would avoid Nero. Harder to maintain than metallic

Nero, specially the non metallic one, is a really stunning color and one of my favorites for a Ferrari and you have to see it alive to become aware of how good it looks. I had a Ferrari Nero non metallic that looked absolutely marvelous after it had been washed but, unfortunately, five minutes later a simple finger print or any dust, were well noticed specially under the sun. I always carried a fast wiper liquid that I applied very regularly with a cloth on the paint surface in order to remove dust and any marks and that way the paint always looked pristine. Unless you are willing to wipe the paint surface very regularly I don't recommend you choose a Nero.

Between the two, I'd go for bianco. As mentioned above, nero definitely looks good when clean. For practical reasons, nero daytona would be better if you decide to go black.

Hehe, or you can settle in the middle of black and white and choose all those different shades of grey and silver.

Actually looking on DuPont and Autotrader. The mix for sale is about 40% black, 30% white and the rest sliver/other.

Why limit yourself to Bianco or Nero? There are some silver/ grays that really show the car's lines beautifully and if you like darker colors, TDF pops on the Lusso, with a couio or chocolatto diamond stitched interior.

Neither would be my blank-sheet spec choice, but of the two I would go Nero. While I love the FF/Lusso, it can look a bit ungainly/disproportionate from some angles and there's no denying she's a big girl. So personally I would go for the slimming (if more line-hiding) black over the white.

I can't agree more. Grey would have been my first choice. Shows the lines best and it's easy to maitain.

So far. Fchat is leading Black / White or Gray (but not much for sale in gray). Family is leading White. Stay tuned.

I have a black FF. I learned that black is not a color but a frigging commitment!!! If you are anal about paint and being clean, do white.

Well I signed on the dotted line. Purchased a 2018 Bianco. Thanks for all the input and friendly jabs!

Anyone know where I can find a PDF of the manual?

    Thanks, Brad

I assume those were largely "tolls" to be paid on the pista to a Pista.

I'd add the vote for Silverstone or a metallic silver rather than black or white. Grigio alloy would be sharp.

Thank you. Is the F12 manual close to the Lusso’s?

Congrats! Ping me when you get your car and maybe grab dinner. Mine is a V12 Grigio Silverstone on Nero. Where in MN are you?
