I’d also be curious to see how much will your tr be put on sale for by the dealership, and what will they do to it if anything prior to sale.
Which ferrari dealer did u take it to already?

The 1987 black TR with 8k miles at Mecum just reached 95k and didn’t meet reserve, the bidding is still going off the air.

For your reference here are below my valuation of a serviced TR as a 3rd party sale or dealer.
To meet those prices car must not have any significant issue and pass PPI with flying colors.
Not going into specific color scheme or luggage-add, 4-5k for luggage.
    TR with 40k or more=75-85k
    TR with 30K-40k=85-90k
    TR with 20-30k=90-100k
    TR with 10-20k=100-110k
    TR with 5-10k=110k-125k
    Time caspule=125k-150k

I have said that all along and again, me and riedge55 are the few here who have bought and sold a TR over the past 2 years; meaning we been on both sides so if u want to twist my valuations be my guess but i never said tr’s could not get good prices but they are trending down afer a natural marker correction.
Most TR have 20-30k and sell in that range; look at xplode who shared with us his purchase price of 97k (with no major).
There is nothing wrong with purchasing a TR for 115k if it is well sorted, low mileage etc...now there still is nothing wrong to buy a high mileage one for 115k just whatever floats your boat; i just know that 86 one on ebay with 90k miles asking for 100k usd for over a year... Guess what still not selling;) As u like to say it’s a buyers market;)

Parnelli is a very wise man who has himself a vast collection of cars. He can get a tr tomorrow if he wishes; he just hasn’t found his miami vice car just yet!

I dont really follow 512TR’s but a 50% premium over what the same TR would sell for seems about right to me?

I agree but it did not sell. The estimate was $200,000 to $245,000.

Those 512 with that mileage sell for 175/180. I made an offer the one at Marshall Goldman and wanted 180k

145k for that classiche tr with a rare color sounds about right

Actually I’m taking that back, with that mileage it should be more like 160k, the marshall goldman has only 16k miles and they want 180k but no classiche

With buyer's premium included, the car that didn't hit reserve yesterday was $160k. It was also 4.5 years from its last major. Maybe it was close to reserve.

A no reserve 512 TR is about to come up at Bonham's this morning.

That you can say i have an agenda for because i truly wish !
I am thinking sourcing one from france or Germany where prices are so competitive but not sure i have the will to go through all the paperwork.

I actually believe euro cars are way better, just a smaller demand (don’t know why) and therefore lower prices

Well i know u cant finance them for one because they are considered grey market but i was looking at 10 512trs in france with service which were 150k max at the door...still a bit of a hassle!
