This literally takes only 10min to install. Don't be an idiot like me and start taking apart the glove box and realizing you didn't need to. It's to the right and behind the glove box. Kind of between glove and right air vent. You can reach up behind and feel the connector. I took out the air vent since you can just pull it straight out and you can actually see the ECU box for reference. I thought from the pictures that it would be on the firewall but its actually mounted toward passenger side wall. Anyways easy install. Audible beeps are much louder. I like the fast flash when locking and unlocking now.

Thanks for the tip. Installing mine next week and this’ll make it a breeze.
Where/how did you mount the new one?

Very easy install just like Ty423 mentioned. Mine was velcro'd to the existing relay but now it is loosely situated above the floorboard panel in front of the battery.

So you can either zip tie the box to something or just use double side tape and put it right on top of the OEM ecu box. Put the double side on the box and when ready peel the rest when ready to place. I like the idea of just leaving the oem box incase the Scuding Swiss fails I can switch back easily.

Side note. I did the Scuding Swiss F1 Relay advance box too and plan to carry around my old F1 Relay in the glove box in case Scuding Swiss relay decide to fail.

Just wanted to bring this one back up. After ordering both the "Smart TSL ECU" (https://www.scuding.com/Shop/en/ecu-solutions/102-smart-tls-ecu.html) and the "Smart eMT F1 Relay ECU" (https://www.scuding.com/Shop/en/ecu-solutions/101-smart-emt-relay-ecu.html) back in January, I would like to share my very high opinion of Stef's excellent customer-oriented problem solving attitude.

I was not very happy with the Turn Signal ECU's Firmware v2.7 high pitch, super-annoying piezo beep sounds while the indicators were working. These sounds were really making me crazy. So, within less than two weeks following my complaint, Stef had a firmware update ready that changed the sound dramatically to the better (firmware v2.8). Not only did Stef take my complaint very seriously, he was developing a proper solution to it and made it available to me. I have reinstalled the updated module, and it is great now. Not only can I recommend Scuding, but also the result.

    Cheers,
    TS
