I've checked parts diagrams, but the angles of the drawings aren't helping much. So here's a pic of what I'm wondering about.

    - What's the green hose? (I think it may be related to the brake booster?) It's looking kind of crumbled around the clamps, so considering replacement. Haven't noticed any symptoms, just being diligent.
    - What's the thing circled in green? (Just a connector or possibly a valve?)
    - What's the blue hose?

    Thanks! :)

Yes, vacuum source for Brake Booster.

One-way check valve to only allow airflow from the Brake Booster into the Intake Manifold (keeps the vacuum level high in the Brake Booster even if the Intake Manifold vacuum drops).

Pretty sure that that's the vacuum source going to the DigiPlex ECUs or could be for the blow-by system?. Often the figures in the OM are better than the figures in the SPC for understanding how things are connected - so check the OM too. Having that other vacuum nipple capped doesn't look stock -- is your 308QV a euro version that had modifications for US importation and then had some of it removed?

Just realized that your engine bay photo shows an aftermarket ignition system -- the blue arrow hose is for the blow-by (crankcase emission control) system; the capped nipple was the vacuum source for the DigiPlex ECUs.

I just did what I should have done before I asked - looked more closely at the OTHER end of the blue-arrow hose. Yep, oil vapor separator. Doh ;)

(I'd wondered about that nipple. Nice to know what used to go there.)

Is that brake vacuum hose the terror-inducing one I've read about that snakes 48 meters around behind the fuel tank, takes a left turn at Albuquerque, under the door, though the fender and to the booster? If so, I may just leave it as-is... the brakes are working great at the moment.

Yes, more or less - it runs alongside the heater hose (from the rear cylinder head), through the rocker panel, through the front wheel well, and up under the dash (accessed from the front compartment). It isn't the brake booster hose that is so terrifying, it's the heater hose... if that one springs a leak... (shudder).

If you're ever going to change out all the coolant and heater hoses on your car (have they ever been changed?), and you're going to change out the long heater hose, then you should change the brake booster hose while you're in there. Once you have access it's the same effort, but getting access is a pain.

The coolant hoses are actually in decent shape; someone's definately changed them since 1985. Point taken about getting 2 birds stoned at once, though.

I've read the lengths are ~ 7ft ... planning to get 9ft for installation insurance. Don't know how soon I'll tackle this - just got the engine put back together, and need some time enjoying driving it for a bit. ;)

It's definitely more than 9 ft; somewhere around 12 ft rings a bell. Hose is cheap, buy at least 14 ft length, you'll use the cutoff piece to make up the 10 other heater hose pieces needed under the front hood anyway! My maintenance thread is here https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/bought-an-84-euro-308gts-qv-today-july-2013-now-a-maintenance-thread.414276 , post #49 included some notes on the heater hoses.

This photo shows the set of heater hoses replaced (brake booster hose in background) - note the size 10 shoe for scale reference! The long rocker panel hose was cut in half, so doesn't show the full length.
